HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stay away from this facility unless you dont mind paying rent for unwanted guests (MICE live here!!!). I give this place no stars! We stored everything in our home (NO FOOD) at this facility for 19 months while we transitioned to a new home. On more than one occasion we found a mouse in our unit. The first time we reported a mouse in our unit the person in the front office laughed at us. There were 2 more mouse encounters while picking up/dropping off things in our unit. Both incidents were reported to the front office and we were told an exterminator was out to treat the problem. We have since moved are things from the facility and found that the mice were indeed a problem! Droppings on our couches, inside of our childrens toys, as well as tearing holes in stuffed animals to use their stuffing for nesting and droppings on stuffed animals as well. Ive made numerous phone calls to speak to a manager at the facility. Most of the front office people were very hush hush as to who the manager was and just said I would receive a call back. After weeks of calling I finally got a name. David Moy, the store manager couldnt seem to return phone calls until I called customer relations to make a formal complaint on him. Then he magically called within 15 minutes of speaking with them. This still didnt solve my problem as David asked me to email him photos and Id hear back from him in 48 hours to see what he could do. Still waiting for my call back! Its been months!!! Dont let the Barrington address fool you. This place is a joke!

Gigi, Randall & Sue were amazing over the last year; we have been in transition moving cross-country, and LifeStorage of Barrington was a priceless help. They provided us with 3 different spaces all clean and easily accessible; we were in/out of the spaces with all of cars, 24 trucks and full sized moving containers. Any time we had an issue/question they were helpful, available, responsible and most of all, just very amiable. We are grateful for their help; couldnt have done the move without them and would recommend them to anyone! -- Aloha

I had a great experience at Life Storage in Barrington. It was very easy setting up my account and locker, the facility is clean, modern, secure and climate controlled. I especially love the monthly price! I have rented from a different storage facility in Chicago for years, in a 100+ year-old building, no climate control, limited access hours and at almost twice the cost of the same sized locker. I highly recommend Life Storage!

This is by far the best storage facility in the area, where they take pride in keeping the inside and outside of the facility clean, the amenities here are like no other storage area I have ever seen! Gigi who has been at life storage in Barrington for sometime now really puts customers first, especially when they are in a pickle, I recommended Life storage to anyone!

I have never rented a storage unit before. I can say the person working there was friendly and explained everything to me. She showed where the unit was located and anything else I needed; including offering me something to drink. The price was the best around and the place was clean. For my first time renting, it was a great experience.

Great experience! I was moving across the state and Amy helped my mom and my sister pick out a few different options prior to my arrival. On the day of moving my stuff into LifeStorage, Amy was again super helpful. Its a great location, super accessible, moving carts on location and again the staff was great. Also great coffee :)

The LifeStorage facility is a great facility. I have used it for storage and also office space. The staff are very supportive and knowledgable. It is kept clean and orderly. The storage units are climate controlled which is great for high end items - such as pianos. Access is easy and secure to the storage units.
