The woman who showed me around to find a storage unit was friendly and helpful. My husband and I were living in another country for one year and decided to store our items in one of these units for 13 months. We packed things in the unit very carefully including plastic covers for the bed on top of our items and plastic bins on the bottom layer. Thank goodness we did this!!! We paid extra to have a climate controlled unit and ironically Great Values climate control a/c was faulty during the summer months. What I mean by faulty I an talking about it dripping condensation all over our things! If we didnt have our mattress on top of our things in plastic the water would have soaked into our very expensive mattress and dripped onto EVERYTHING and ruined it all. Fortunately, the mattress was a tarp and saved all our things. When the movers came to get our items out of the unit they noticed this and told us. We discovered puddles with mildew on the bottom of our unit. DO NOT get their insurance because this just gives them the choice to deny your coverage. We were very fortunate that we changed the name of our unit to my parents so their homeowners covered our items. And thankfully since we packed our things the way we did, we avoided a HUGE disaster. When I brought the dripping condensation up to person working at Great Value on the morning we were leaving they acted like it wasnt their fault and said they couldnt do anything. We took photos and sent them via email explaining what happened. Never heard back even after I called and spoke with someone. If you put your things in storage and their roof was leaky, then it is the facilitys fault. Same thing here. Unless you are going to cover your things with plastic and a tarp, dont use this place. We were lucky, but many people with items in the units probably were facing damage. Very disappointed we paid about $1200 for our things to be safe and they were not.

The staff was very helpful and the facility is well taken cared for. I have personally worked in storage for over 4 years so I naturally am on the lookout for life and safety issues any time I go to a storage facility. I did not see anything that stood out as a major issue and from the looks of it the site works hard to mitigate possible water damage or pooling areas. Wide aisles and well lit with doors that open and close smoothly. I am only using them for a short period of time between moves but I have been very satisfied with the site and their service. I believe April was the name of the woman who helped get me set up and she was very pleasant and made sure to cover all the major ins and outs of the storage process. Clean, secure, and well staffed I would recommend to anyone who needs temporary storage.

Extremely rude experience in Champaign IL. Bills are very confusing. Payments are not updated on the next bill. When asked about it in person in the office, April told me she did not have to listen to my complaint. She had zero ability to handle my legitimate complaint or my frustration. We are having to get an attornely involved because they overcharged us, threatened to auction off the units, and even though the bill is caught up, they have cut our locks off and replaced them with their own. Very fishy. Cannot recommend.

The Facility is clean and up-kept however the management is very unprofessional and disorganized. I informed them of my moving out of my unit ahead of time and they continued to charge me late fees for two months totalling $700!! I contacted them about the problem and they kept telling me they would clear the account... they are still trying to charge me fees to this day. I would not recommend this business to anyone!

I rented a storage unit at this location for about eight months. The staff are both friendly and conscientious about facility upkeep; I had an interior unit, and never saw any vermin in the halls. The location was clean and kept in good repair. Signing up for a storage unit and paying my rent was always hassle-free, as was notifying AAA Storage of my move-out. I highly recommend AAA Storage Market Street.

I went to Great Value Storage front office to sign up for a storage spot that i reserved through a third party and found that i had lost my spot due to going in more than 48 hours after reserved move in date. although i was frustrated April Britt was very understanding and more than made up for it by finding me an open storage room. My experience ended up being very good.

Absolutely horrid customer service, poorly maintained facilities, and deceptive marketing. I reserved a unit well over a month in advance, and the manager quite rudely told me off and claims that she "deleted reservations especially for college kids" at her whim. I strongly encourage anyone looking for storage services to look elsewhere.

The staff was very courteous, and gave us a better unit than we had asked for at the same price as what we were looking for. All just because the one we had asked for had just been filled. The facilities are maintained well, the the passcode to enter at all hours is a great perk. I would definitely recommend AAA for storage needs.
