I had two young men by the name of Cliff andJosh on my first call and then I discovered what I thought was another problem and Josh and Tony came to check that out. Both times they were on time and smiling. As they entered the house they put on their"SLIPPERS" to protect my floors and allowed me to explain and take them to where the problem was. They listened carefully and saw for themselves what the problem was and explained to me why my side light was going ON and then going OFF. They showed me how my 52 year old light fixture had frayed wires in it thus the reason for the trouble. They then went and got me a new fixture ,light bulbs etc and I was sooo relievedto know that my fears were gone.They gotup in the attic ... dont know what all they did,but they assuredme that all is well. Yesterday my call concerned the clock on my stove and I was afraid becauseof the proximity of the two that the clock on the stove,was involved and might short out . They assured me that it was strictly an appliance problem.Both sets of men were very patient with an old retired schoolteacher who had been wringing her hands in depair!!! I feel so blessed to have Dixie on my side!!!! Thanks a million for being there for me!!!!! sybil c.

I was referred from a friend to use Dixie, I will say they are prompt with answering their phone and scheduling service within that day or next day. Ive had several service calls for electrical and plumbing issues. Having said that, unclogging a drain for the shower and washer drain that took less than 30 minutes cost me around $375.00. Almost $400 for 30 minutes of work...WOW!!!...Had them come out and look at a dryer issue and was quoted $2700 to fix a dryer vent.....it cost me $48.73 from Home Depot and a half day of work. My wife wanted a new Roman Tub brush nickel fixture installed when I was out of town and found they charged her $613.00 for less than a hour of work and I supplied the parts!!!!! Dixie quoted my wife $1500 to replace the shower valves for removing brass to brush nickel handles and valves.....went to Capital Plumbing and found everything for $188 and had God Fathers Plumbing install them for $85.00. Granted I know I have a choice for choosing who I have installing these items but when you think this is normal price because they tell you that they are comparable price compared to other businesses you tend to take their word....I wont use them again unless they are last on my list.

Theyre definitely not the cheapest, but they will give you a flat-rate estimate (so you know what youll be paying before you agree to anything), and they absolutely will stick to that estimate. We wanted our old house with a fuse box redone with a modern breaker panel and some new outlets.They had some major problems with the job that they didnt foresee (at one point they had three trucks here), but they didnt charge us a penny more over the original estimate. They even sent us a fruit bouquet because the job took a day longer than they thought it would. A few months later, half the lights in our house went dead due to sideways rain leaking into the breaker box and a tech came out and replaced one of the main breakers at 10PM, he accidentally left his customer book at the house, called me first thing in the morning, and I was going to be out right where his first job was, so I dropped it off for him...Dixie Electric sent me a $25 gift card to a local grocery store a few days later, along with a personal letter of thanks. I recommend Dixie Electric to everyone I know. Like I said, you can find a cheaper electrician if you want to, but they do it right and truly seem to care about their customers.

We were having a intermittent problem with our GFI circuit. I selected Dixie Electric based on their phone book ad which seems very professional. I spoke with a representative who took information on a Saturday and promised a service call Sunday morning at 8:00. At 8:10, I called to confirm the appointment and found the technician was having problems with his personal vehicle. I later learned his vehicle was disabled in a major way, and he took appropriate steps to still keep the appointment. He was professional and confident in his approach and within a short time determined the problem to be with an exterior receptacle which had badly corroded. His truck contained all the necessary parts and within a short time he had completed the repair. I was very impressed with his care and understanding of the problem. He has good people skills and is an excellent representative of his company. Based on his work, I will be considering Dixie Electric for some future work I intend to do requiring improvement of my power distribution system. Excellent in all respects.

Josh is our electrician and we love him! He is smart, detailed, trustworthy, friendly and a pleasure to have in our home. He has done a LOT of great work in our 1970s house. We still have a long way to go, and we look forward to Josh helping us along the way! Tony is the electrician who installed our uplighting around our home/trees. He was fantastic and completed excellent work! We will definitely be calling Tony to help us with more outdoor lighting. Sam is the plumber that installed our kitchen and laundry room faucets last week. He was great!..super friendly and went above and beyond to make sure everything worked perfectly. He will be coming back soon to help us with more projects. Travis installed new grilles and air filters in our home. Just like everyone else from Dixie, Travis was friendly, hard working and completed great work. We wont hesitate to request Travis for our AC/Heating needs. I love that Dixie not only sends smart, friendly people to help us...but they send people that we feel comfortable having in our home with our young family.

The Dixie Electric, Plumbing, and Air Team of Josh O., Cody S., and Carolyn W. gave me excellent service today (2/5/16). Carolyn called me 30 minutes ahead of the teams arrival which was appreciated. This was the first time Josh and Cody had serviced my home (I get annual checkups from Dixie on all my home systems---electric, plumbing and air--- since Ive found that routine maintenance is less expensive than repairs!) They did a review of the electric and air systems and made several recommendations which I accepted and then they completed the repairs on the spot. I mentioned some minor problems I had been having with a bathroom sink and Josh will have the plumbing specialist come to inspect that. I am very pleased with the professional service I receive from all the Dixie team whether for electric, air, or plumbing. When you need someone to repair heaters, ACs, or plumbing, you generally need them immediately. Dixies routine maintenance has saved me a lot of grief over the years!! Thanks Dixie! Allen Ezelle

Tony Brooks was my technician today !! If your rating scale had 100 stars I would give them to Tony !! He knows our house because he wired it 25 years ago during construction and has continued to provide excellent help over the years with various electrical issues !! Today I had a LONG list - everything from changing high ceiling lightbulbs -replacing worn -out sockets etc. to installing a new motion light outside !!He could not have been more efficient or professional all afternoon !!! Started our club membership today and - with his VERY knowledgeable explanations of the LED bulbs- we will begin to replace old bulbs all over the house !! He was SO patient explaining the different kinds of lights (colors) - heat effects -etc. and we were truly "blown away" by the difference !!!!! GREAT ELECTRICAL EXPERIENCE today !!!
