This company was hired by the realtor representing the seller of the home we closed on last month. I dont know whose fault this first error is exactly, but, there are 4 very old original sconces in our home, two in the dining room and two in the living room. They all worked but the switches on the two in the living room were faulty and did not function correctly. There is also a dome light in the living room that has always functioned perfectly. In our inspection response we asked that the LIGHTS in the living room be fixed, the sellers agreed to fix everything we asked. We closed on the house and guess what werent fixed? The sconces. I called the sellers realtor, he said the electricians thought we meant the dome light, but that always functioned just fine and the fact we asked for the "lights" as in PLURAL to be fixed should have maybe crossed their minds, also why did they "fix" a light that was already working? Anyways, fast forward to the realtor giving me the number of this company to set up an appointment directly as I am currently 40 weeks and 1 day pregnant, so I am always at home, at this time I was 35 weeks pregnant. I called on a Monday at 9 am, asked to set up an appointment and they said theyd check the schedule and call me back. 1 pm the NEXT day and Ive heard nothing back, so I call. The lady on the phone said she didnt hear back until late on Monday about when we could set up a time and that they could come out on Friday. So why didnt she call me back Tuesday morning? Why did I have to call? Fast forward to Friday, The electricians come and say they cant fix the lights, we need to just replace them with something "modern". My house was built in 1924 and has ALL of its original charm, fixtures, doors, trim, hardwood floors etc. Something new and modern would stick out like a sore thumb. They said, "Give me a minute, I have to call them and see what they want us to do." Okay... Excuse me? What does that mean? So, they come back 5 minutes later and say, "Oh, I didnt realize you own this house, we thought it was a renters situation." Nope. So they go on to say that the realtor told them to do whatever I wanted them to do, so I say I want the lights fixed, not replaced. The electricians tried to talk me out of it going on about how they will have to take the lights with them and find all the parts and blah blah blah. Not to mention they had well over a month to correctly fix what we asked in the inspection response before we closed had they just thought for a second about how they were supposed to fix these in the first place and not the already working light... fast forward to now. I have not heard from them since the Friday they came and took the lights which was over a month ago now. I can not bash this company enough, completely unprofessional and they lack any common sense whatsoever. Well see what happens if or when I ever hear from them and get my lights back.

Jason was awesome this morning! This was the second time we have used MWE and they have been great both times. Good service with reasonable pricing. Will use them again for our next project.

Great Work, and Honest prices, no inflated costs like Mr. Quick Electric. An estimate for a whole house fan replacement from Mr. Quick was over $2000, Midwest estimated $750!!!
