My rental company used Dr. electric. Been dealing with them for a month and a half over an issue. They said the issue was with the electric company, and its been a month dealing with the electric company as they continue to tell me that it wasnt an issue from their side it was an issue with the electrician.Then they were supposed to come last week and I waited all day and never received a call (I have a picture of my call log if anyone is interested that shows no calls were received). After a week of still not receiving any phone call from them to come and fix the issue, I contacted my rental company again. They said they thought it had been taken care of. They never heard back from Dr. Electric and assumed the job was complete. They gave me the name of Dr. electric and Joe, the owner. Joe was extremely rude and said that he had called me numerous times. I never received a phone call. He said that they only call once and they dont leave a voicemail and if you dont answer then they move onto the next job. Its not their policy to contact the rental company or to try to contact you again. Seems like really bad customer service to me. But his work loads gonna be much lighter now. Since I played the recording of the phone call to the rental company, and shown them my call log, theyve agreed that theyre not going to use him anymore. Proceed at your own risk. Seems like they want to charge you for a visit, then scapegoat and blame electric companies or customers instead of fixing the real issue.

I needed to have some bathroom electrical outlets installed in my old ranch house. Not knowing anything about electricity, I called around and got some quotes - some as high as $750 per outlet, which seemed excessively high. After asking my friends on Facebook, I called Joe who quoted me a price over the phone. The next day, two of his guys showed up, performed the work professionally from the panel up through the attic and down the walls correctly; they even fixed the outdoor security floodlight at Wallet Friendly Prices! Ive used them again for a kitchen remodel and I highly recommend Dr. Electric hands down.

We have a bad breaker in our circuit box, and Jimmy and his apprentice, Robert, came out around 5.00 last night and fixed it, but later on, the circuit blew again, and Jimmy came all the way back from Hendersonville to Brentwood, assessed the problem, fixed it, and made suggestions that were greatly appreciated. I cannot express how thankful we are for Jimmy and Dr. Electrics honesty, dedication, and great employees. We will always use Dr. Electric for any future problems. Thank you so much.

Had them come out and they found a bad switch. Charged $100 trip charge and $2 for part. Told us guaranteed for year, call if any more problems. Next day, that same light wouldnt work. They came back out and said it was a different switch but obviously one in the same circuit. Charged $75 dollars. You would have thought that would have been included in his "year" warranty or at least something he would have checked with his first trip.

This review is from 6/2015. Worse company every. Charged me $600 to put up 3 ceiling fans and to put one under cabinet light up. We had already bought the fans and put them together as all they had to do was put the fans up. The under cabinet light was done wrong and bent. My husband had to redo. We called to complain and joe said he would call us back. Yeah right. Beware

I had Dr. Electric come in to check out some faulty wiring and outlets that were sparking when turned on. They removed the outlets and replaced with new ones and checked out the whole house. 2 guys showed up and they were very professional. I would use them again in a heartbeat. Thanks Dr. Electric!!!

There so much about this con artist that prays on the needs of others to profit beyond belief $400 an hour he charge me and electrical inspection failed so hes not even a good electrician
