After 8 weeks travelling around USA I badly needed a haircut and not knowing what hairstylists were better than others I decided on the easy option of the salon at Walmart. I have very thick, very wilful and very difficult hair and my previous haircut before (leaving my home country) was disappointing. Liz, at Smartstyle, West Rancho Santa Fe Blvd, did a fabulous job ..... cut, blow-wave and style. I was delighted. Liz is a very talented hair stylist and my hair looks better now than it has for months. Thanks Liz and thanks Smartstyle.

Hair cut prices are crazy they charge you $25 for a cut only and then for design one line a additional $14.99, a few more lines an additional $19.99 and an design for example a heart they charge you an additional $24.99 they crazy if they think I going to wash, blow dry, flat iron my own hair and then pay them $50 to trim my hair and get a heart design

I felt unwelcome as soon as I got there. My daughter and I were coming in for a cut and the stylist told us she wasnt going to be able to see us for "a long time" with such a rude tone. I asked how long the wait would be and I could hear her long sigh, there was no desire to assist or wanting our business so we left.
