Sad to say that Sweet Salon is a disappointment. I was going to Angela for about 3 years for maybe a total of 8 times for hair cuts and one full color session. I noticed her work get sloppy but I was loyal customer to her so I stayed. This last time was a terrible experience. I asked for a ombré... my natural brown hair at the top and blonde on the ends - even showed her pictures. The end result was terrible!!! In the light at the salon it seemed fine, she blow dried it for me and I paid and left. Once I got home, I looked the mirror and saw nothing but LINES and a horrible COPPER color throughout my head and it WASNT EVEN AN OMBRÉ. It was AWFUL. I took pictures instantly and called the salon. Angela said she couldnt get me in for 5 days to fix it. But I knew better NOT to go back to her for a fix when she did a terrible job the first time and knew she did. But that isnt the worst part. I asked for a refund and the receptionist said no refunds until Michael, the owner, was in store. I waited 2 days for him to get back into the salon. I called and asked for him. He answered and i introduced myself but before I could get a word in, he immediately said "No Im not giving you a refund". Never spoke to this man before but he was extremely rude and stand off-ish... didnt even ask why I, the CUSTOMER, didnt like it. I asked him why and said it looks "Fine"... No salon owner should say his employees work is just "fine". He continued to tell me that is how it is suppose to look. I never once asked for lines in my hair. He went on to say that I should save face if I wanted to continue business with them...ARE YOU KIDDING... I was beyond fed up with them. DO NOT GO HERE. I ended up with ugly hair and no money to fix it. Luckily, I was able to get it fixed in one session exactly how i wanted it by a much better and professional salon stylist from a different salon close by who even WARNED me about that place and the terrible stylists there.

I have never had any luck with anyone doing my hair. It has been over 4 years since the last time I trusted a "professional" to color, cut, and style my hair. I went to Sweet salon with the upmost confidence thinking that they were pros. When I asked if my hair would be a problem, which I know for some it is because of the type of hair I have, I was told that it would not be a problem because, we are professionals, with lots of experience with all hair types!" I paid $120 to have them highlight and cut my hair. I was told at the time I paid that if I had any problems with the way it turned out within the next day that I could come back and they would fix it. Of course it usually takes a day for the color to really come in. By the evening my roots were light brown, my tips black, and my highlights, that were suppose to be red, were orange! To top it all off my forhead was covered in dark spots from the hair dye! I was not too upset because they told me if I was unhappy to come on in and they would fix it. I did return that very next day only to be treated very rudely. Once I realized that they were obviously offended that I found a problem with the job that took three people three hours to do, I demanded to speak with their manager. The manager did not want to come and apologize to me for the damage that was done to my hair himself, instead he sent his receptionist to tell me that they will refund half of the money. No one even apologized. The sad thing is, is that for them, it was all about the money. For me, I was just wanting some type of acknowledgement that my hair was obviously ruined! Just a warning to all that if you need a hair cut, yeah, they do a great job, because my sisters, aunts, friends, and mom used to go there to get their hair cuts, but for all else, hope you like orange.

I went to this Salon after getting a recommendation from someone that Angela could do a blond baylage on my hair. First visit, the colors ended up all wrong. The brown was copper penny color and bright brassy blond contrasted with a dark brown added to my roots. So she agreed to fix it. She added bleach in foils and some lowlights. She went back to foil and chat it up with another client at a different station. I must have sat there with the bleach on my hair for 30-40 minutes. The whole top layer that she bleached is burnt and ruined. It feels like dry hay. I have spent over $80 in repair and moisturizing masques and it is still in bad shape. It will have to be grown out and cut off. My hair was perfectly healthy before seeing Angela. I spent years growing my hair out and keeping it healthy and now its beyond repair. I disputed the $150 charge due to quality of service and the salons bank is fighting it. I am disgusted that they think I should have to pay $150 to have my hair ruined. Maybe it was a fluke that she did this to my hair, maybe it was because she was angry that I came back because I didnt like the color. But I know one thing. I will warn everyone about what COULD happen. I have pictures to prove it too. So if I were you, I would go somewhere else that your friends and family trust and recommend.

I went to Michael for the first time today and he was ABSOLUTELY fabulous! It was obvious by the way he handled my hair that he DEFINITELY knew what he was doing! I loved the knowledge, the politeness and great conversation... Now for the hair! My hair has never looked better in about a year and a half! I had a bit of a hair scare a year or so ago and it was just disastrous! Not only did Michael take time with me, but he made me FEEL COMFORTABLE and welcome! I am so pleased to have found a stylist and will most definitely be going back and looking forward to it! A+

I recently got my hair done this week by Paige and I decided to do the Ombre hair color with brown on top and light brown on the bottom. This was my first time doing this and I am really picky with my hair since it is thick, wavy, frizzy, and long with layers. Paige would know this from all my tangles. LOL Anyway, I just want to say I LOVE MY HAIR!! Paige did such a great job even though my hair is difficult to work with. I got compliments from my husband, daughters, friends, and several coworkers. Thank you so much Paige!!!

I had a groupon to see Cierra, and I had a lovely time. She was very attentive and we had great conversation. My hair was very long and I had a ton of split ends but she handled my mess of hair with grace and gave me a great haircut. It looks and feels so healthy now and she did and amazing job. She took her time and paid great attention to detail. I love how my hair looks! I recommend her-- look up to see if her groupon is still available, too!
