The customer service at the Chandler location is deplorable. The point of having a 24 hour drop off site should ensure that if a customer puts a service coupon in the bag with the items it is up to the person checking the clothes for cleaning to use. It was not used and so a credit was supposed to be provided at the next drop off since it is obviously too much of a hassle to refund the customer the money once a credit card was already ran. The credit was on my account and when I picked up my dry cleaning I assumed the credit would have been applied, well it was not. I told the young lady at the counter who so nicely pulled it up on the computer could not understand that I was supposed to have a credit taken off my total. She stated she would let the owner know about the issue and he would give me a call. That did not happen, so I called back the next day and spoke with a young lady, perhaps the same young lady from the previous night because she still stated she could not understand what I was asking for. I stated I simply want my credit refunded back to me since it was stipulated in my account and not done on the previous order I just picked up. She took my information down again and said the owner would call me back and I still have not occurred. So now I know while I should have the convenience of dropping my order off in the 24 hour drop bin, I can not do that because its too difficult to apply coupons inserted in name tag of my bag and it takes almost an act of God to get a credit applied correctly. As an update to this review, the managerDrew, called me back and remedied the problem. He was very understanding and Im not one to say the customer is always right, but he understood my situation and found the best solution which was more than fair. I thank him for his efforts and for that will continue to patronize this cleaners as Ive been using them for quite some time. Thank you again to the management.

Ive been going to Monterey Cleaners for about a year now and have noticed that the quality of their work has gone down significantly. I do not recommended taking your shirts to be cleaned. The past several month they have been burning my shirts and even made a hole in one of them. They didnt offer to reimburse my money for their mistakes since I can no longer wear the shirt. I recently took some new shirts into the Dry Cleaner and do note they were all different brands. When I got them back several buttons had fallen off. Buttons on new shirts do not just "come off" after being taken to the Cleaner for their first time. Thus place does not care about your clothes, they just want your money. I would not recommend them to anyone.

I had been a customer of Monterey Cleaners for about 10 years until today. Over the last several years, the quality has gone down as the prices have gone up. I had a customer service issue that I discussed with the owner, and instead of offering solutions, told me that he was sure that hed lost me as a customer, so why should he bother discussing it any further with me. Seems to be a pattern when reading another review on here. The owner, Lloyd, has very poor customer service skills, which is unfortunate if you own a customer service business. Take your business elsewhere, youll be much happier.

The customer service (if you can call it that) here is pathetic. I dropped off a shirt for 24 hour service, came back the next day and it WASNT ready. When I came to pick it up, I waited in line while some hipster douche bag (you look like a tool) who clearly worked there was reading a book off to the side watching customers wait. When he decided it was time to work again, he got up from reading his buzzfeed recommended novel, and decided to help. 24 hour service wasnt actually 24 hours. Shirt was still wrinkled. Hipster kid needs to shave those pubes off his lip that he calls his mustache.

After doing business here for 3 years, I will never return. The Manager is a smart ass jerk. I brought an employee error problem to his attention. His response was "the only course I have is to fire the employee" which he repeated more than once. I suggested that was in excess and some training is a better option. At that point the Manager walked away saying nothing. The Manager and his attitude are the ones which should be fired.

Great & Fast Service! I started using Monterey Cleaners about a year ago and everything has been as expected. If you go at least once a week take advantage of the 24-hour drop off. They keep your card in their system and give you a special bag you can use to drop off in the after-hours drop box or as an easy way to skip waiting in line to drop off your clothes in the morning! :)

I have a pair of linen pants that are hard to iron so I take them to get cleaned. Most places charge me $4.50 - $5.00. Monterey Cleaners only charge me $2.50 for dry cleaning and pressing and if I take them in before I go to work I can pick them up after work the same day! I also take my shirts there to get cleaned and pressed.

Absolute garbage customer servicer. Not only were our clothes not clean, but new stains were added to my clothes. Never go here.
