Used CC because of the Groupon as well. Spoke with Marlon as well. He told me the Groupon was fine for my comforter. I too did not read the fine print. Marlon accepted the Groupon and told me to pick up the comforter on Tuesday. When I arrived to pick up the comforter, the owner, a younger gentlemen pointed out that the Groupon was not valid on comforters. I should have read. But even more, they should have said something. The best the owner offered to do was to discount the $35 cost the $20 I paid for the Groupon, and I paid the additional $15. I would never use them again. Groupon is not intended to be a money maker for the company. It is designed to get people in the door, to see the quality of your service, and to use you again in the future. What kind of Dry Cleaners, directly next to another Dry Cleaners, Dirks, doesnt honor the mistake of their manager? I would have at least price shopped and gotten a better deal. Based on this experience, I cant recommend Classic.

Multiple problems - 1st they ruined my skirt and then claimed that it had a large discoloration (soft ball sized) when I dropped it off - it didnt. I had to argue with them to get them to admit that it was possible that they had caused the discoloration. Then...they told me the manager would call me...he didnt. I returned and again had to argue with them to provide any solution other than me just taking the skirt home, they agreed to try to clean it again. When I picked it up the same worker was there - she pretended not to know who I was. The discolored spot was improved but not perfect... At no time did they apologize or admit that they caused the damage. I would rate the customer service as very poor. 2nd the prices are absurd! I know there is a large cost range out there, but this cost me about 27$ to get 2 simple skirts and one sleeve-less knee length dress cleaned (no silk, just suit skirts and a cotton dress).

Dropped off comforter to get some yellowing cleaned. When talking to them it was stated that the yellowing may not come out. I was understanding and said lets try. It took a week to get the comforter dry cleaned. When I went to pick up the item I was interrogated if I was the owner of said item. I was required to show my ID and questioned about my hair length in the photo to my current hair. I finally got the item. When I got home the yellowing was slightly gone. But I found two huge stains red/orange in color that I knew were not there when I took it in. The stains were hard and crusty. I went back and they said they couldnt do anything. I am out $50 and have to throw away my $375 comforter. I will not reccomend or ever go back. I should have read the reviews.

Dropped off three couch cushion covers off, they quoted $40 and a week turn-around time. Called six days later to check if itd be ready and was told the covers would be ready the next day. Went in to pick them up and the covers were not cleaned because they are vintage and too fragile. I have no problem with the reluctance to risk ruining the covers. I do have a problem with dealing with waiting a whole week with my couch looking ridiculous and Ive completely wasted my time. At what point would you expect them to tell you something like that? Not to mention why would you say theyd be ready the next day if you werent even going to clean them in the first place? What a joke.

I went to CC because of the Groupon. I had read the description of the company which talked about how they clean comforters. When I went, I was told the groupon wouldnt apply to comforters, and that I had to use the entire groupon on one visit (and I didnt have enough clothing items to amount to $40 of cleaning). I was going to leave the comforters but was going to get charged $35/comforter. I took the comforters to Continental Cleaners at 9th and 9th and was charged $25/comforter. I dont know how they actually do on cleaning, but the fact that the Groupon has so many exceptions, I feel misled and would definitely NOT recommend this place.

I was really excited to take my favorite dress here to have it spruced up. Its in a charming location and building and I wanted to support a local business in downtown Salt Lake. However, Classic Cleaners LOST my dress!! Further, they refused to take responsibility, to reimburse me for the dress they lost, or to even apologize. I can understand making a mistake (even one as huge as losing a dress) if the business owner had shown some good customer service instinct and worked to regain my loyalty. However, I am very disappointed with the experience I had here and cannot recommend it to anyone. I will not be back.

They actually gave me back my clothing dirtier than when I dropped it off. My silk blouse had a grease spot that wasnt there when I dropped it off. I took in a coat that looked like they had done nothing to it when I got it back. It still had a strand of my hair on it when I got it back. One of my shirts was pleated and they pressed all the pleats out of it and it looks terrible now. Theyre expensive and not worth it!

I used Classic Cleaners because of a Groupon, and even though I didnt read the fine print, they were nice enough to clean my comforters anyway. Marlon (I believe thats the managers name) is really nice and my comforters turned out great. I got a quote from Henries for down comforters to be cleaned at $60-80, and Classic Cleaners retailed for $35, but with the groupon, it was $20. Great deal, great customer service.

I dont know how they did it, but somehow these people saved my favorite silk blouse that I thought was ruined from grease stains.....and these werent just tiny spots either. I almost cried when I went to pick it up and it was good as new! After that, Im sure Ill be a lifetime customer.
