Had a problem with my 2002 chevy truck. It sounded like the brakes were going bad, the brake pedal had some inconsistency to it, and the brakes wanted to stop the truck without me touching them. So I bought the parts to do the front brakes. Brakes are done, but now I have a problem where the front calipers are sticking real bad. Making a bad smell and just burning from not releasing. So we decided to go to a Pro to fix them because I don’t have the money for guess work at this point. When I was doing the brakes I noticed my fluid was not correct, it was green. Went to Just Brakes and told them what I have done as far as the brake job and told them there might be something wrong with the fluid being contaminated and that needs to be checked. The manager or something told us that the fluid was green and that it could be another type of brake fluid, and that the calipers were bad and needed to be rebuilt along with back parking brake needed to be done. So 500.00 and a week later the problem is back, the truck wants to stop itself. We bring the truck in this morning and they test drive and check it out, they tell me there is something in the fluid and that the whole system needs to be redone at a tune of a $2000.00 dollars give or take. This check only took no more than 3 minutes after test drive. Why did they not find this the first time after I told them the fluid might be bad? Simple they wanted the first 500 and knew I would come back with the problem they didnt fix. Then another manager told me the other guy was on vacation and he doesnt have a answer why it was not caught the first time or that it’s possible that it would not show bad on certain days (Which Makes No Sense) being there was probably more bad fluid in the system the first time. I couldn’t imagine how much bad fluid was in there after they flushed it the first time for them to find the problem under 3 minutes the second time and not the first. Do not bring your car here unless you got $3000.00 to just let them rip you of the first time. This is my first reaction to this wrong doing. I will take this as far as I have to go with just brakes to get my money back, so I can put it towards the real fix for my problem.

So let me give you a little back ground. This service center was a stones throw from where I use to rent a house a couple years back when we first started bringing our car in. We now know that this store has been through a couple managers since, but even with the change of guards, we have had a pleasent experience each time. Never once did I feel like I was taken advantage of. The best case in point to this is my dealings last week Feb 2016. My wifes Infiniti FX35 was vibrating while on the road and while breaking, now I do know a few things on what would cause this, so brining it in, I already knew what I wasnt. I met the new manager who was prompt to inform me of the extended wait (that he was down a couple techs) but that he would gladly get me into the "line". After explaining the symptoms, the manager went into what it could be and the proper replacement of (way more than the ban aid my budget could afford). He walked me through (showing me on the car what issues they found) but that he would check a few other possibilities before truly knowing if the brake pads, rotors, and struts needed replaced. Turns out, after rotating the tires ( which were badly needing to be replaced) the shaking had minimized dramatically. It was very refreshing to know that not only was it mainly a tire issue, but that this shop was not looking to hose me in repair costs that were not NEEDED RIGHT NOW. I was promptly handed my keys to my car and told "Go get new tires". "I dont want your money! Go spend that on tires!" (I expected to pay for at least the tire rotation) but he refused to take any payment. He explained that given my situation, he hoped that I would come back to his shop when it was time for the other repairs. 2006 Infiniti FX35 126,XXX miles 2003 Lincoln Aviator 113,XXX miles. P.s. The reason I did not give this shop a 5 star is simply because I think any overall rating to be "perfect" is hard to come by, plus, most people may think that this review is fake and not look any further than the rating and into the actual comment.

Yes these folks said $89.95 over the phone. Same deal, Sup. Toyota was about $500. However my noise was caused by a caliper that was pushing out at an angle. My rear brakes were 85% gone. One front brake shoe was worn at an angle due to caliper pushing at an angle. I had 91,000 miles on the car and this was the 1st brake job. A few other parts and it came to $400. Yes it was more than the $89.95, but that didnt include the hardware at 91,000 which I didnt tell him the mileage. Its still cheaper than it would have been at Toyota because their price didnt include new hardware either or redoing the front calipers with new kits. Also the dlr never replaced the brake fluid in 5 yrs and it looked like dark beer and theyve had it in for service. So it was extra to drain and flush brake fluid. I know that the little hardware clips and the flush job would have added another $200 at Toyota. So some folks think that any add ons are a rip-off, but he told me the $89.95 was just for new shoes and rotor turns. I knew there might be some other stuff at 91,000 miles. Me, I was very satisfied with the price and think that they were very professional (Tony) and they got the job done from 4-6PM and it was estimated at Toyota ("wed need it the full day"). it would have been a long day at Toyota. Glad I went to them. Thanks for the opportunity to speak out here. Rocky backinarizona

Just had an awesome experience with this location. I thought that I was a good weekend warrior DIYer so I changed my rotors and brakes last weekend purchased from the local automotive parts store. The next few days I was a little nervous from the smell of the new brakes bedding in and that they may have been getting too hot. Today the fam and I drove to Phoenix (106 degrees F) and at freeway speeds the front end had a fine vibration. That peaked my nervousness and we turned around ready to turn my man card in to a mechanic. Just Brakes is close to home so we called and Annette, super nice, scheduled us for the afternoon. I pulled in to find her at the front desk and Jake, mechanic (also super nice) ready to meet me. I explained the situation and they both felt it was a balance issue. Jake took the car for a spin and put it on the jacks and pointed out that I hadnt lubed the brakes well enough. He gave me confidence that I did a good job and ended up lubing them for me. The tires needed balancing for sure so that was the problem. They took it for a spin after and all was good. They didnt try to push anything on me and were super honest. They took great care of our family car and have earned a new customer! I will be back for sure! Thanks guys!
