A few months ago, in February 2016, I was considering installing air conditioning at our laundromat. We got several bids and Plumbsmart convinced me I should do the job right then because during the winter when business is slow, I can get high quality work at decent prices. Plumbsmart’s pricing was okay. They estimated the building should have a 7-ton unit, but I went with a 10-ton unit to assure we would keep the place cool without struggling. I paid them $11,700. Installation itself left much to be desired with the quality of work, damaged ceiling tiles and the awful way they restored. I complained and they corrected the cosmetic repairs within the week, but it left me wondering how well the system’s ducting was installed based solely on how they tried to piece back broken tiles to my ceiling. Then comes summer and the start of my horrific experience with this company. The system ran day and night and barely moved the thermostat needle. Customers are angry and going to our competitors. Yes, I’m losing customers!! Plumbsmart has been out many times in attempts to fix the system, but hardly any improvement. One day, they asked for $1250 to install two more air intakes vents. I paid. It made some improvement, but we are still far away to what is acceptable. Folks, I am NOT asking for 75 degree temps. I would be happy with 85, but the system doesn’t come close. I’m mad as hell. I keep losing customers. Right now, it’s 9pm at night. The unit is set at 78, and it’s 92 inside. 92 is not acceptable to anyone’s standards. Plumbsmart drags out with their responses and it’ll be winter before they find a solution. The system was installed last February. It’s now about August, and still no solution in sight. I DO NOT recommend Plumbsmart for installing new air conditioners for any home or business. I do not believe they know what they are doing. I am leaving these reviews in hopes to warn others… and Plumbsmart has not heard the last of me. I plan on filing a complaint with the contractors board, BBB, any other gov’t agencies which may help regulate hvac contractors and I will be filing a court case for resolution. I have paid them $13,000. I would like to cool my place to 85… am I asking too much? My experience with Plumbsmart and the results they have provided are beyond ridiculous.

They came over to the house because we had no hot water and there was a leak on the shower which damped our carpet. They fixed the hot water issue, however, when I asked if they fixed the water leak they explained that they replaced the cartridge and drain stopper which "should" fix the problem and if it didnt, I had BIGGER problems. Next morning I come out of the shower and there is a puddle of water which is coming from underneath the bathtub. I contact Nick and he tells me someone could come later in the day or the morning after, I request someone to come here ASAP because I already missed time off from work the day before and cannot miss more time today to fix this issue which SHOULD have been fixed the day before. Nick indicates he will call me back "in a little while" and an hour later I am still waiting for a call back. I would NOT recommend anyone their services.

Plumb Smart came out to rod my kitchen drain. They snaked it. The snake went through with no problem. The two young men sent to my house poured water into the drain. They then went outside. The black water flowed into my dishwasher. It over flowed onto my floor and along my cabinets. I was quite upset. They walked off the job, which was a blessing in disguis. I called Parker and Sons. They came out right away. Took one look under my sink and outsider and told me, the problem wasnot a clogged drain. It was the way the pipes were installed. They replaced the pipes. No more backup. No more black water backing up into my sink and dishwasher. Do yourself a favor, call someone else first. Save yourself the aggravation and get a plumber who knows what he is doing.

Service and work was tremendous!!! I believe the tech went above and beyond in helping. My only issue is the cost. I did feel there was a bit of a bait and switch though with the 49 dollar fix. The adage of if it seems too good to be true, it probably is fits here. I understand that the fine print says a few things, and the price may have been fair and comparable, but I felt lured in by the "too good to be true" 49 dollar fix. The 49 dollars is if they do not need to use any equipment. If they do, the cost went to 125. I already had the guy there, and like I said, he did a great job, but I just felt a bit taken advantage of. Maybe I was being greedy. I do thank you for the work, and I didnt want to leave a review, but was asked by the company to do so.

3 years ago, bought a house in Tempe that needed complete new water lines, sewer lines (under house) and hot water heater, etc. Another words, BIG job. Plumbsmart did all of the work as promised and at a reasonable rate. Home is currently being sold and some items came up needing repair under warranty. Don came out and did the job quickly and without any squawk in a courteous and professional manner. Robert in the office helped with additional property inspector items - above and beyond the call of duty. I cant say enough good things about this company. Outstanding company with outstanding customer service. Highly recommend!

We are very happy with our experience with PlumbSmart. Our first meeting was with John, then Nick. Both impressed us with their knowledge and work ethic attitude. Within a few days the heating and air conditioning units were installed. We have a split system. The air handler is in the house. They covered the carpeted stairs. John and his crew were efficient, friendly and courteous. Its been two weeks and were enjoying the the quiet air conditioning. Our previous units were installed in 1975 and noisy. We highly recommend PlumbSmart

John came out to give us an estimate just a few minutes ago. He was friendly, LOW PRESSURE, honest, professional, and exactly on time. He provided us some flexible options and we may choose to go with him. We have 2 other estimates scheduled for today. Yesterday, we had an estimate from Parker and Sons, where we had an awful experience with a high pressure, dishonest presentation. Our interaction with John at PlumbSmart was a breath of fresh air. If we do decide to go with this company, it will be because of John. Thanks!

The people at PlumbSmart are amazing. Very nice and professional. I was told Ryan would call between 9-10am. Ryan called at 9 saying he would arrive at 9:30 and he did. Ryan and Patrick looked over the job asked of them and explained in detail what needed to be done. I had two options and they gave me a free estimate for both. I was quoted 2-3hrs to get the job done because they had to go get a part. They were done within the 2hrs. Thank you Ryan and Patrick. We will use PlumbSmart for any future plumbing problems.
