Management is a joke. Tanning beds you cant tan in cause one has been "broken" for well OVER a year, the other the bulbs have NEVER been changed. They dont enforce any of the rules. Seen people working out barefoot, in jeans, kids running around climbing on equipment. My biggest pet peeve is the constent slamming of the weights by ignorant wanabe meatheads. Weights get slamed, front desk laugh (litterly laughed in my face) when you ask them to address the matter, and management will all of a sudden allow it when its their off duty trainer with his buddies. Ive seen 3 owners come through, and somehow the equipment can never get fixed till atleast 9 months pass by. Forget trying to cancel either. Can only be done with the manager and he works Mon-Fri 10am till maybe 4pm cause he comes and goes as he feels. You sign a form in front of him, then take a pic of now signed form, email this 3rd party billing company who is in India with the pic attached.. Why you have to do this with the manager and not anybody at the front desk.. no idea. No joke on the 3rd party biller called 3 times and each time was a person who could barely speak English.

By far the worst gym Ive ever signed up for. Ive had memberships at Planet Fitness, LA Fitness, YMCA and never gotten the run around like I got at this place. I signed up for personal training in February 2016 that was supposed to be a hundred something sign up and hundred a month each month for a year (contract) Abruptly because of what they said was change in management my sessions were lost in April 2016 and couldnt schedule my sessions I already payed for. In June of 2016 after long back and forth with who I was told is management, I have multiple payed for sessions and they dont know why they couldnt schedule my sessions for me before. I told them I just wanted my money back since the service they had me pay in advance for was not provided and I havent gotten my money or heard from them since. In the end I would just recommend finding the nearest trash can to you and throwing away your money there instead of doing it at this place. Management doesnt know what theyre doing or care about their members and the majority of the employees are just as helpful.

Blast is a great place to work out. The staff is always very pleasant and considerate of the needs of mine, and others. Yes, some of the gym equipment is broken at times. But, if you sign up with a trainer; they can train you other ways to target that area, the same way or even better than that broken machine. The trainers are indeed the best in AZ. The gym does provide free weights. So at times you will hear weights drop. Its a sign of strength, empowerment, and achievement. So, I encourage you to get on that level. The daycare hours are the only reason I give 4 stars, and not 5. Even the classes are fun!! I encourage all to join the Blast movement!!

This place is the worst. How they tricked anyone into giving this place a good review is beyond me. The staff is so lazy and sales driven. They only care about their own commission. They cant give a straight answer to save their lives. They charged a "price lock guarantee" fee which later they revealed was a "maintenance fee." They make it IMPOSSIBLE to cancel. They tell you they need a "manager" there whose only there at the most bizarre hours. Then if you actually manage to come during those hours, they let anyone cancel it for you after explaining all the benefits of blah blah bullshit. Its a scam. Do not waste your money.

Gym is not run well. Front desk is not trained, kids tour the gym, personal trainers do not talk to anyone but clients, equipment, and facilities are never 100%. At one point there were 9 pieces of equipment down for over 30 days. I understand some things being damaged, thatt nature of the gym, but 9? Front desk needs to be trained better, told me I wouldnt get charged again after 30 day cancel but I got my $50 charge anyway. ABC financial is a monster when it comes to making sure the gyms they work for get their money, customer service is the least of their worries.

Terrible gym. Broken and unclean machines. There never seems to be any paper to clean machines. Stopped going months ago. Verbally cancelled/froze my account. They have been harassing me ever since to keep paying my month to month membership. Probably due to the fact that people have or are experiencing what I have. Typical thievery. Management constantly changes which is why this is happening to me. I originally signed up because the was a no hassle cancellation at any time policy

I usually dont take my time to do reviews, but I just had to for Blast. Having visited several gymes, previously I couldnt avoid noticing the friendliness, and the down to earth attitude of all the employees ; from the person who helped me sign up, to the trainers, who where very inspiring and easy to approach. There is plenty of equipment, space and the place never appears to be too saturated!! Big thumbs ☝ ( I cant wait to participate in the insanity - ftness group )

Finally an affordable gym that doesnt upcharge you! Front counter is always helpful and knowledgeable. My favorite part about Blast is the heavy bag! Its hard to find a regular gym with boxing equipment so kudos on that. The manager is there Monday thru Friday. Ive seen him there as early as 8am and not leaving till almost 9pm on another day. Hes always talking with customers making sure they are comfortable. Blast is the place to be!

Its getting harder and harder to find a gym with a decent selection of free weights and decent operating hours, that doesnt cost an arm and a leg to join. Alot of gyms are moving to the muscle specific machines. The ones that do have free weights dont really have late hours. Peak times arent really that bad, you can get in your workout quickly without waiting for a particular machine or station.

This is a great gym! The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Carlos and Geillen are awesome and always greet us and make us feel welcome and a part of the gym. They have a variety of great equipment. Great hours and classes. All the regulars are very friendly. Highly recommended.

It was a pleasant experience working out in this gym. I dont interact with people much. All i wanted was to be allowed to work out in peace. Staff says hi and bye when u use the entrance and thats enough interaction i need. No hassle when i cancelled my membership so thats why 5 stars. Thanks

Been going to blast for almost a year and I absolutely love this gym! The customer service is absolutely amazing and all the employees have positive attitudes! Definitely recommend this gym for everyone no matter what size you will always feel welcomed at Blast!
