Seriously run the other way. Good luck ever canceling your membership. I have been attempting to switch gyms for the last month due to the fact they seriously overcharge, and Ive been told my membership has been cancelled twice now wth no luck. Good luck getting in touch with a manager either to resolve your issue. I was told a manager would call me since conveniently they werent there the second time I went in to issue a refund, and that never happened. I called a second time because theres no way Im wasting more of my time going in and was told the manager was on the phone and would call me back, that never happened. I was told I would receive an email documenting the fact my membership was cancelled and sure enough they someone managed to "forget" to cancel my membership. I had to call corporate in order to get anything done, where I filed a complaint because the staff at this gym is so grossly incompetent. When you hear all this stuff from former members warning you against signing up for this gym, believe them, I wish I had! Not to mention the fact this location is super sketchy and in a bad area, people are always having their cars broken into in this parking lot. Ive been to a lot of gyms over the last eight years and this is by far the worst and the most expensive.

The pool is filthy, so is the Jacuzzi! I called and aslked the mgr if they will be cleaning it, since it was closed for 4 days to be fixed. He told me yes. Other people complained about it being dirty according to the girl at the front desk. Went in and it still wasnt cleaned. So yesterday I go into the Jacuzzi which I thought wasnt that bad. It was. I went to the front desk to ask for the mgr to see if they will clean the pool grime off the sides and she tells me "Oh it is dirty beacause its broke". I said thought the pool was fixed she says" No the Jacuzzi is broke". Well I just sat in it for 20 minutes. She said go shower it off, it is really dirty in there! Great start to a day!! CLEAN YOUR POOL AND JACUZZI PLZZZZZZZZZ!

WARNING: SEX OFFENDER AT THIS GYM!!! I went to this gym on a trial membership for the day and had to use the showers before going to the airport. I thought it was odd that there were no shower curtains, but I didnt have a choice. On the way out, I mention that they need shower curtains. Turns out, every week a member of the gym would go through and rip out the shower curtains that they put up. The response from the staff member is "there are weird people at this gym". I had no warning that there were perverts at this gym, but now YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Exercise here at your own risk.

I cant say anything particularly negative about this place - this particular location is clean and the little interaction Ive had with the staff has been uneventful. I personally dont like the layout and if you go here after work hours its an absolute zoo with almost every piece of equipment being occupied. I came from going to the gym at ASU exclusively and in case youre wondering: compared to ASU the caliber of women here is very sub par - theres maybe one or two good looking ladies here at any given time but at ASU its eye candy in every corner.

Hey there

I come here because the location is right off the light rail and there is a Frys, Starbucks, and a few other businesses. The gym itself is pretty decent with a large selection of cardio, strength training equipment, and pool area. Sometimes the air gets a little stuffy and unbearable, but I manage to deal with it. The only downside is the number of shady people lurking in the shopping center who are looking for money or who are just flat out nuisances. My advice is to keep your eyes open at all times.

Im in here every day, sometimes multiple times a day and can honestly say most of these negative reviews are BS. Machines arent broken for weeks at a time and are maintained very well. Ive never had a problem with staff, the place is kept clean. I do wish they would open earlier on Saturday and Sunday, 8 AM is a bit late for a lot of people I imagine. This place is fine its the negative reviewers that are a bunch of babies in my opinion.

However, my bike was stolen from one of the stalls right in front of the LA Fitness windows. It was on a Monday between 6-7pm. There was evidence that my bike lock was cut intentionally. So please, if you bike to LA Fitness on Camelback and 7th Ave, get a strong chain lock or just dont bring a nice bike. I really cant fault the staff as Im sure whoever took my bike was professional in their execution and probably hard to spot.

Equipment is always broke, 2 stair climbers have been broke for weeks now....sucks when its busy with the after work crowd. Locker rooms are gross...great idea putting carpet in a locker room, bathrooms are gross, soap dispensers are always empty, the drywall looks like it was patched with tooth paste......Run a vacuum once in a while.

I have had a membership since January 2016. Last month, we found a closer 24 hr gym so I asked a representative to cancel my account. REPEATEDLY. Not only did the refuse, they continue to try to charge my bank card and harass me and my 14 year old daughter because the card wont go thru. Worst business practices EVER.

Signed up here with Bill and did a personal fitness session with Eddie and let me tell you these dudes are awesome! They are both extremely helpful and actually care about you. This experience was so much different than other gyms in a good way. Very comfortable going here, they both need raises and promotions!

Been coming here for months (moved to Phoenix for a summer job) and manager said I wouldnt have to upgrade when I first moved. Two weeks left in the summer, different manager banned me from the gym unless I paid a $99 upgrade. Total BS and zero communication through their staff.

G.M set up my membership he seems like an ok guy, but i have to tell ya folks the staff definately preys on the women with low self esteem it was said to me by one of the managers, so gentleman go with your females to workout or someone else just may be.

Very cool gym with anything you need. Classes are fun. Its a diverse and for the most part friendly crowd. Only problems I have had were the bathroom was dirty a few times. Also the weight area does smell a little. Thats about it. Good job.

I like that this place is close to me . When I go no one bothers me, and its never crowded. I also love that its right next to frys. It makes it so convenient to go grocery shopping right after a great workout.

Extremely rude staff. Their weekend hours are not at all convenient. They have a poor choice of classes and not offered frequently. I will not go to an other LA Fitness due to my experience here.

This place is okay. I feel it is always too crowded and cramped. I love the hot tub, and a lot of the spa equipment is constantly breaking down. This place has an extreme case of gymtimidation.
