So myself I had family go here, and they swore up and down it was the best. I been going since January, I can truthfully say I have never had a good experience. When I first toured the guy didnt even explain anything, didnt even come with. Didnt think anything of it. About two weeks later I then get my monthly statement from my bank showing two different transactions pulled out. One for my member and one for my guest. Which why was this unusual well because they were different days. So I then call and am like what the heck is going on, the lady didnt give a reason but said forward it wouldnt happen again...currently in May and still having two different days...so you think thats it...thats hiliarous I wish.. its ridiculous hot...before I even work out Im sweating.. thats crazy... I dont need freezing cold but semi warmish coldish would be nice. Not 90ish. Haha I wish that was it. I recently has a incident with a personal trainer. I was at a equipment and no one was around. I looked, waited to make sure no one was at water fountains. I then start my work out. Her and a client come up and the lady says that its part of their rotation I need to get off. Excuse me?! I got so mad I fricken left. I then called for a manager which was a joke. He pretty much said people pay more money for trainers so they should get the equipment since limited time... I havent gone back since. Worse customer service. Get it together! What a joke. I didnt think Id agree with other review saying crappy until now. This is the worse gym.

I wanted to share with whom it may concern the unprofessional conduct and business practices of your club manager Anna. 3 weeks ago My wife and I signed up for our membership with childcare. Cody, the gentlemen that signed us up offered us childcare for all six of our children at the rate of three. He made this offer to us and we even waited a day to hear back from him to clear it with Anna. After signing up and attending the gym the last 3 weeks we were approached today by an employee who asked us if we were the people with six kids not paying for them. When my wife asked to speak to the manager, she made us wait about 30 mins. When she did come over to talk to us she told us that there was a miscommunication and that she would cut us a deal and only charge us for four children. As we did not ask for a discount, but was offered one, and signed a contract agreement on that price we declined and wanted the price we were quoted. There was no miscommunication on this process. She began to explain that she was going to fire Cody over this. Again, very unprofessional behavior of someone that is suppose to lead a group and provide, at the very least, decent customer service. I have already cancelled my membership and will pay for my new one tomorrow at the gym we left. I believe that a bait and switch in pricing like that is poor business practice and someone should be aware of whats going on. Thank you for your time.

My wife and I have been in Peoria for 2 years. We were at LA Fitness first but left due to deceptive charges in our monthly bill. We have been attending the Thunderbird location for about a year and are pleased with the facility. The place is always clean (workout floor, restrooms, showers, etc.). The staff is polite whenever I interact with them. There is a great range of equipment to choose for aerobic to anaerobic exercises. The cable stations often need repair which has caused some frustration only during peak hours. Leading to...expect high traffic at peak hours like any gym. The current "$9.95"/month promotion has brought in more people. One demographic, the 18-22 year olds in particular, have not all learned proper gym etiquette such as, not staring like hungry wolves at the dance team when it practices or hanging out in front of the water fountains. My biggest gripe, which has nothing to do with the gym or staff, is people being lazy and not putting back the free weights when done, which is common at other gyms as well. Other than that, I plan on staying with this particular gym till my time in Peoria comes to an end.

For the price this gym is pretty good and for folks in Peoria its in a nice location! The pricing system is pretty decent with the deal of paying $120 upfront and $10 a month or just paying $20 a month...no contract on either. The size of the gym itself is alright but it does suffer on the weightlifting side of the house given the limited machines. The only stuff they have more than ONE of is the regular bench press and universal machines. EVERYTHING is limited to ONE so there can be many times where you find yourself waiting for the person who takes thirty minutes on one machine. Besides this the gym does have nice "sections" such as the ladies only mini gym, a massage/therapy area, the cardio section with treadmills, crosswalks, etc. galore, a couple of aerobic areas, and even a small daycare center. The restroom (at least male side) is very clean and well kept but the gym only has fans blowing throughout (no air conditioning and only half the fans are actually on)! I dont care for whatever brand they decided to use for the bench press benches (especially for the decline) but other than that a good gym!

This place has the most horrendous customer service. They change staff so often that when you have a problem it turns into "oh so and so doesnt work here anymore. So we cant verify or help you." I requested to cancel my personal training and was told ok by a sup there then was called to next day to confirm. Come to find out 2 months later that didnt happen and I was " past due". By then I was already about to move to HI well outside the 25 mile range. I was told to give them a cell phone bill with my new address. Gave that and once again was told ok, then sent an email. This time they put my account on hold for a month then reactivated it. Now Im getting past due notices. And am told that a cell phone bill wasnt sufficient and to give a bank statement as well as a credit card statement. While frustrated, I just wanted this done. Only now they tell me oh no the credit card cant be with the same I stitution as your bank!!!

Management is horrible this place does not have proper customer service skills. Me and my fiancé were looking for a new gym when we came across eos. Michael signed us up and rushed us with our process. When I became a new member they charged me the with a set up fee than 2 weeks later they charged me with an annual fee (which I was unaware of) of $65.00 Twice so I went in to question why I was being charged so much when they advertise something different. They were very rude and said I had signed all the contracts and there was nothing they could do. So than Michael comes over and told me maybe I didnt have my glasses on that day. I looked at him and said excuse me verified his response and had to leave before I asked him if he got punched in the face today but yeah eos is horrible always crowded the staff are rude except for the girls behind the desk they are always smiling and make me feel welcome.
