I have used this location for over a decade. I fondly remember Doyle and his excellent customer service. Now there is new management that honestly I dont care for. They close the shop with no visible public notice on weekends adjacent to holidays so when I decide to tow my car there I find locked gates. Whats worse is a engine vibration on my 2000 Toyota for runner was diagnosed as a bent cam shafts and lower bearing crack. The new management quotes me 3,500$ for a rebuilt engine because Im told its a rare 3.2 litter engine, but he insists its a good deal because he owns the shop that will rebuild my engine. Long story short after selling the forerunner to a neighbor for 2,000$ the only repair needed was a timeing belt. That was a at max 900$ repair that I was quoted 3,500$ for that caused me to sell a 5,000$ truck with brand new tires for 2,000$. I hate the new management and I suggest if you dont want to be up sold the most expensive engine in Phoenix next time you need a head gasket swapped then you should avoid this brake masters. The other brake masters in town tell me the reason cave Creek is so shady is it is the only privately owned branch in the city. Call around and check for yourself then PLEASE USE ANOTHER BREAK MASTERS!!

Used to come to this location regularly they treated me well did a good job I forgot my debit card he let me go I came back with it and paid him it was it was fine, great. I guess the manager was embezzling so they brought in a management company and things have changed. 1999 oil change does not apply to anyone with a truck found that out when I went in to get an oil change and the price went up, I didnt have that money on me so I had to leave and he told me to call on Saturday its walk-ins but he will reserve me a spot. It is Saturday I called to find out how busy they were and he told me was a three hour wait I reminded him who I was and he didnt offer a spot for me like he said. The owner is a nice guy and Im sure hes going to regret reading this and Im sorry that you lost a customer of three years because of unkept promises. I took my car here for years and never had any trouble until the manager changed. I have always been very good about taking my vehicle in for regular oil changes. The new manager treated me as if I was completely stupid and told me the car issues I was having was due to "not changing the oil on time", when he should be able to see in his system that I had been taking my car into them every 3 months or 3k miles. Due to this inane accusation, I began taking my vehicle elsewhere. My new shop let me know that the battery Brake Masters had supplied was bad and advised that I take it back there because it was still under the One Year warranty. Brake Masters replaced the bad battery they sold me per their warranty, however less than 3000 miles later, my new shop once again advised me that the battery Brake Masters sold me is bad. The battery is testing at 62% when it was supposedly just replaced with a "new" one. Brake Masters also does not replace parts after theyve been replaced under warranty once so now Im just left with a bad battery and a terrible experience.

Wow!!!! Ok these guys live up to their hype and so much more!!!! I was told by my body shop I needed to get a brake job - and was referred to brake masters. They were significantly less expensive than other shops I had received quotes from. They didnt try to rake me across the coals, just fix the problem and move on. While I was waiting, I heard the way they treated other customers. An older lady came in, as soon as she walked in the door they called for someone to drive her home. I thought - wow! Shes getting the VIP treatment... she must know some one. Nope! Thats just how they are. I over heard the manager going over an inspection with another client telling him what needs to be done immediately, what will need to be repaired in the upcoming months, what was no concern and why. Again, I was blown away by how professional and compassionate the service was. I felt like everyone was treated like family! I dont know if this is a faith based company - but they definitely follow the golden rule of loving your neighbor as yourself - maybe even better!

I set an appointment to bring my car in for the "Royal Flush" package they have. They took my car info when I set the appointment. When I brought the car in, I asked for them not to do any extra service to my car without my explicit permission. My car does not have power steering, which is one of the "flushes" in the Royal Flush. They decided to give me an oil change to make up for my lack of need for a power steering flush, but I had just done my own oil change with a premium high-mileage synthetic blend oil and upgraded oil filter. I know they were trying to be nice, but they could have let me know at the time I booked the appointment, when I dropped the car off, or when they did the service. I might try them again in the future and update my rating. Maybe. I happen to know that my brakes really need replaced. Soon. They are very worn. And they didnt suggest replacing them. That could be a good or a bad thing. Did "Brake Masters" not even inspect my brakes, or were they just trying not to be pushy?

I had to take my car to this location to fix what another location had done. It was going to be a big job because they said I had to get my wheel hub replaced which they quoted me $317 for. I had just dropped my car off so I asked them to send me a picture or PDF of the quote which they didnt do for a whole day. After that I asked them to send me a list of the parts they were using. My mechanic friend told me that the price for what they had to do was fair but to check to make sure they were using the good parts, not the cheap parts but charging me for the good ones. I never got the list of parts they were going to use. I picked up my car and had to drive it very carefully back home, luckily I live up the street. My boyfriend ended up fixing my car himself with his friend when I was on vacation. Ive since gotten the wheel hub inspected and Ive been told it doesnt need to be replaced.

I caught them red handed stripping my oil pan. They proceeded to tell me I had to get a whole new oil pan or have my car towed out of there shop. Even after presenting them proff that they were at fault them claimed no responsibility. I had my car towed away to another shop where I had my oil pan replaced and at half the price. Brake masters after ruining the original tried charging me nearly $500 to replace it. Con artists. Theyll never touch either of my cars again.
