Great Experience! I called around Ogden and MIDAS Auto was the first place that had an opening I took my truck there. I had essentially flattened a 2 foot long piece of my exhaust. The flattened section was dead straight and easily accessible. The guy at the front desk at MIDAS took down my info, put my truck on the lift, came back and told me they would absolutely have to replace the entire exhaust from the catalytic converter back, claiming they couldn’t replicate the factory bend in the pipe, quoting me $290. I knew I didnt need all of that, so I told him, "Ill think about it." He asked, "Has it affected performance?" I said, "Well my truck has always been pretty gutless, but I am certain a flattened pipe cant be good, thats why I am getting it fixed." He laughed and said, "Truck? I call those modified minivans, get a real truck, Ive got a GMC 2500." I laughed as well, "I said my Honda Ridgeline does everything I need." I couldnt care any less at his attempted insult, as I dont drive a big truck to compensate for something else being disproportionately small. I happily took my "Minivan-truck" to Master Muffler around the corner, (3590 Wall AVE) and paid $80 for this simple fix. I will never go to MIDAS again, Master Muffler wont try to rip you off!

Not sure how competent these guys are. I was given a price over the phone and reaffirmed it twice. I was told to bring my car in today at 8am. I arrived at 7:50am just to make sure I was on time upon which the employee doubled the price and said my car would not be finished until 1pm. The employee was very rude when I told him the name and who I had spoke to on the phone and he was not service friendly at all as he picked his nose and totally avoided the situation. I pulled my car 100 ft. up the road to Jiffy Lube who were happy to help me and got my car done in 25 min. with a great price. I hardly write negative reviews so it was a big deal to me today and almost took out my busy schedule. I do not recommend this location at all. If they cant be competent over the phone or have good costumer service, how competent can they be with the service of your car?

Long story short I bought a vehicle from a dealership(05 Jeep Liberty) and within a month the engine was blown. I was quoted $8,000 for the repair by multiple auto shops. Master Muffler quoted me half that. So being skeptical of the price I still decided to have them repair it as a good warranty was included with the repair. I was happy with the repair but after the warranty was up it blew again from a faulty motor. Rather than charge me they did the entire repair again for free! Even after the warranty was void. My family has always recommended this place and after taking in multiple vehicles I will never go anywhere else. This is an excellent business with excellent people

Unbelievable. I had a appointment for brake inspection at 10:15 am. Dropped my vehicle off at this time. Gave my number to call me to tell me what needs to be done. Two hours and forty five minutes later I return wondering why I have not been contacted. He states he was just getting ready to call. Tells me my rotors need to be replaced due to squeak. I understand rotors may need to be turned if I was driving with worn brake pads which I have never. Not replaced. Then wants to charge me $99.98 for 1 brake pad set. Steer clear of this place unless you have a whole day to be without your car and like to get ripped off.

Im am very pleased with the service of Master Muffler. My Ford Expedition was making lots of noise. I had a thought it could be the muffler. I took it into Master Muffler with the idea of getting a diagnosis and quote. I brought it in and was promptly helped. I told the gentlemen of the issue and he went right out and had me start up my vehicle. He got down on the ground and within about 5 seconds said yep thats your muffler. He gave me a price and I asked how soon they could get me in and he replied right now. I thought the quote was reasonable and really liked the prompt service. Would highly recommend.

With all the mechanics to choose from, I want to help anyone reading this out by recommending Master Muffler on Wall Ave. Not only is it right next to the Mall and Moores (so you have something to do if you need to wait), but the staff is what makes this place shine. I have been going to here for a few years now, and never have regretted the decision to switch from my hometown mechanic. The prices are fair and the work that is performed is top notch. I have had everything done there from my annual inspections to a replaced manifold. Trust them and their work.

I bought and installed an aftermarket exhaust, for those of you who know about aftermarket exhausts know the in cabin drone can be very hard on the ears so I brought my car to Master Muffler and asked if they could add some "j pipes" to eliminate the drone. They made a next day appointment and had the job done before the end of day. They fabricated the pipes themselves and discreetly placed them where you couldnt see them from behind the car. The drive home was amazing, I love my camaro more today than the day I bought it. Thank you Master Muffler in ogden.

I have rarely had good experiences with mechanics. This is only the second time. After a few times of working with the guys at Master Muffler I have very little concern that I wont be treated fairly and honestly. One of the things that I deal with most in life on a nightly basis is my PTSD. Even though there have been times where I couldnt come out when I had wanted to and or let them know I would be there, they have never made it a negative issue with me and that is a huge appreciation.

If you need an oil change, muffler work, or brakes go to Master Muffler on 36th and Wall in Ogden. They keep their appointments, theyre experienced, and their fast. I walked in last week and saw one of the employees helping a guy replace his brake light for free cause the guy was in a pinch. These are good, honest people and not a hole in the wall shop thats struggling because they cut corners. I cant say enough good about this location. Get in and get your car fixed right the first time.

This is my go-to garage. Every time I need quality work done, I go to these guys. Their prices are reasonable, although they are reluctant to give quotes beforehand, which can be a bit irritating. But it is good work, and never expensive, so I can over look that. Do bear in mind that because of good reviews and plenty of regulars, they can be busy, so not all repairs can be done on my timeline. But again, I would rather wait a day, and know the work is guaranteed.
