I was moving out of state. In order to free up my time to assure I took with me what I needed, my friend moved all of my stuff that I was storing FOR ME . My friend told me they made her put contract in HER NAME & HER INFO. No problem as she would be here to access my things if I needed her to do so. UNTIL I TRIED TO MAKE A PAYMENT. I DIDNT KNOW INFO she gave them. I called Arlene explaining I HAD TRIED 3 DAYS to make a payment unsuccessfully & after being told by my friend that she received a late notice with a late fee. Arlene WOULD NOT GIVE ME THE INFO since it WASNT IN MY NAME!! She also WOULDNT REMOVE THE LATE FEE!! She told me that we HAD TO COME in the office together in order for me to be authorized...IM IN MICHIGAN!! After getting the information I needed from my friend, I went to pay online. After inputting MY INFO, CC #, BILLING ADDRESS-everything required. it WOULDNT ACCEPT PAYMENT (EVERY MONTH). I made excessive calls to try to get this resolved to avoid late charges & to assure my payment posted ON TIME for both my sake as well as my friends, knowing that both credit reports could be affected by this. Finally, 6 months later, 1 call WAS ANSWERED BY A VISITING REGIONAL MGR. WHO GAVE ME THE LINK I NEEDED!! Problem solved. I Returned Nov. My friend & I went TOGETHER to get a new contract in my name. Arlene took my info, payment info, copied my ID, I SIGNED CONTRACT. My friend signed a RELEASE & TERMINATION OF CONTRACT. However, I continued to run into inability to make online payment. Every month it was a phone call trying to resolve this. Up until March I had to same problem. IN April I went to the office & with the assistance of a young man at the desk he showed me that NOTHING WAS EVER CHANGED! 6 MONTHS Arlene SAYS SHE CHANGED IT?? I got the it changed & able to make my payment. In 2+ years, I NEVER GOT ANY MAIL from Dollar storage. Now, I get a piece of MAIL in my box on MAY 8TH-A NOTICE OF A $13 MONTHLY INCREASE IN RENT BEGINNING JUNE 1ST (less than 30 days!) Two+ years Ive had storage here, everything has been discussed by phone with a confirming email... Except this. I got a 10x10 unit (Mine @Dollar 5x8) for $13 a MONTH LESS THAN the rent FOR SMALLER UNIT at Dollar + 1ST MONTH FREE + ITS COOLED!! NEVER would I recommend Dollar.

Great place! Couldnt be happier. After being here for six months, I can say this facility is excellent and is always spotlessly clean. Kevin runs a tight ship and Tina is always a pleasure to deal with. If you need storage in the area, I dont think you can do any better. Totally satisfied.

Way to pricey! They dont want to work with you! I dont get my child support check till the 6th and after the 5th they impose a $22.00 late fee so my rent for a 10x10 is $115.00 +$22.00 thats $137.00 when I only get $130.00 and Ive been there for almost a year! Im lookin elsewhere!!!

This team was great! The facility was very clean, the staff was incredibly helpful and personable, and the overall process was quick, easy and painless. Also, inexpensive. Will not think twice and Ill use them whenever I have the need! So should you. Do it.
