This is a great place for color and a cut or any other service they provide. The owner is an artist with all the services he offers. I have never had a bad cut and styling there and he really listens and advices on what colors work best for your skin and age. The location is upstairs in a glamorous Assisted living center main building, and appointments are dedicated to taking care of the customer. Dont be fooled by the location as I am young and get my hair done there.

I had my first appointment at Hair Effects Salon recently. After having my hair the same for a long time I decided to go for a change and thats what I requested Alan to do. He did wonderfully! he recommended what color highlights to get and got to work. I have a lot of hair so I appreciate his hard work. Alan is a professional and has a lot of experience, he cut my hair freely and creatively. I love the change he provided in my style and I will be going back there again.

Allen is amazing, he sat with me and talked to me, how he was going to do my hair and how he was going to fix it. This place is the bomb. The shampoo chairs are super sexy and so comfy. Very intimate atmosphere, but still upbeat, making it perfect for young and old. And they have very reasonable prices. Owner Alan Stevens actually takes the time to consult with you and actually listens to what you want, unlike other places that Ive been. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat.
