Dont work with Sandy!! After approving my brothers marker the final proof came back wrong. After advising sandy that the proof is incorrect she advised she would email me a new proof. Never got an email!!! After calling for about a week I finally got a hold of sandy again and was told the final proof would be in the mail. Got the final proof approval and the final payment handed to Sandy to be processed. After about two or so weeks I started to get calls from the financing company saying Im past due on the marker payment. After telling them the pay off check was given to the funeral home weeks ago I was advised to call the funeral home myself. After all this frustration I come to find out that Phoenix Memorial LOST my check!!!!!!! I now have to do a stop payment on a check they lost and go back and give them a new check. Horrible customer service is an understatement!!!!! All Sandy could say to me was "once the check is out of my hands I have no control on where it goes." Well thats very reassuring knowing you work at a funeral home! Phoenix memorial is dealing with customers that are going through life sensitive situations and should have things more under control. Customers should not have to deal with stop payments and multiple proof edits on a MARKER!!!! That being said I know I will never be using their services again. This has been a nightmare already with the loss of my brother and I shouldnt have to be dealing to a funeral home that cant get their act together!!

My mom was laid to rest in August of 2015, I paid in full even her headstone, a year after her burial, and my moms headstone wasnt put in. When I called several times, was suppose to get calls back and never recieved it, eight months after I called to ask when my moms headstone would be put in and I was told they never ordered it, then they stated a rush order was being done, I was suppose to see proofs of the headstone before they started never did, kept calling and kept putting me back to the person who helps us and still he never returned my calls, finally I called to speak to someone higher up, well he called me and assured me that her headstone was on a truck and it would be place in a week or so, and promised me that I would recieve photos when it was in place because I am out of state, still til this day I have not recieved photos or a call to let me know that her head stone was placed. This has been torture on our family, just want closure and we cant get it. I do not recommend you put your loved ones here, its a shame dignity is affiliated with this cemetery

No one wants to deal with a mortuary so the 5 star "loved it" seems a little inappropriate. My 5 star indicates "Excellent". My husband died unexpectedly and suddenly while working near Phoenix. We were stunned. We had done pre-planning with a mortuary in our home state of California, and of course thought it would be years before we actually needed it. Never assume that. By chance, we were given the Phoenix Memorial Park name as a contact. From the first call I made to the day my husbands cremated remains arrived home in California, the staff at Phoenix Memorial were professional, kind, and efficient. They worked with the California mortuary and made a difficult and agonizing time less traumatic. A special thanks to Jennifer who met with us on an incredibly hot day and handled all the details so we could return home to California. I urge you to pre-plan and if you live in the Phoenix area, do not hesitate to contact Phoenix Memorial Park.

I will try to keep this short, but correct me if I am wrong, but when dealing with a death in the family shouldnt the last thing you should be worrying about is a funeral home making sure they do their job correctly? PMP first has a problem with their answering service because we were looking for the cemetery that my step brother was buried at and they were extremely rude, then when we found that he was buried there we wanted to bury my mother. So we started making arrangements and PMP ordered the wrong casket! I live in TX and it seems that they figured since I wasnt local they didnt feel that they needed to return any calls. The head stone for my parents wasnt completed for over a month and a half. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else unless you have to keep your family together. Its not worth the extra grief!

I would look elsewhere if you are needing a caring staff to help you with your loved ones service. The chances are 50/50 that you will get a professional caretaker that will see you through from beginning to end.. We went to prepare ourselves before we brought a young teenage girl to help make arrangement for her father, no details or information was given to the family. Later on the director was cold and did not consider her age or the disheartening comments that she was making about her father that had just suddenly passed away. If it had not been for the Celebrant, that we had given directions to, many parts of the services would not have been done.

good at taking my money but very slow and a lot of excuses about why my headstone took over a year to get, from Arlette taking the money and not putting in the order to Spencer not being able to answer questions and now to George who was handed this mess, saying hell discuss this with Jason, didnt hear about that discussion to its being held by customs for 3 months, to its finally here and well have it move to the front of the line to be installed. That was a week ago, still not installed. I would recommend not ordering markers or headstones or monument headstones from Phx. Memorial. I know Im not the only one thats had problems with this company.

There are improvements needed to areas of the cemetery. My Mothers stone is sinking in on her side. My Fathers side is not so much. He is still with us thankfully. The grounds have looked better as of late, but still have a ways to go. They have literally gone over graves with large equipment that had malfunctioned, tearing up the ground like a 4X4 event. Not the fault of the dead. The cemetery needs to make that all right. I dont know if anyone has also noticed, but the west section does not get tended near the same as the rest of the cemetery. Its sad.

Very good service. I have buried my parents at this park. Every detail was covered and the services went smoothly. The memorial marker was engraved correctly the first time and set in a timely manner. Communication is the key. I have since gone back over many years and the park is well-maintained and lovely. Thank you all at Phoenix Memorial Park

They are great with the upkeep and most of the staff is helpful. I did hear a rude comment from under one of the staffs breath when I asked for help finding my great grandmothers grave. It was a very disrespectful thing to say to someone looking to find a loved ones final resting place.
