100% SCAMMERS THAT PREY ON GULLIBLE PEOPLE! KNOW THE FACTS! I went here to get my hair follicles tested because I was experiencing hair loss. I had developed traction alopecia from over use of hair extensions for 5 years. Traction alopecia is hair loss due to constant strain and traction on the hair follicle over time from tight hairstyles, weaves, extensions, etc. Traction alopecia, if not treated early, can cause permanent hair loss due to the hair follicle closing up and scarring over. I tried to educate the employee (who was performing the digital hair follicle test) on this, but she told me that theres absolutely no way that the hair loss is from extensions and that I should keep wearing them. I already knew she was wrong, and I was just so shocked that they actually let her spew these lies at customers. This girl is not trained to inform customers on the realities of their hair and scalp conditions. Shes only trained to upsell customers on her stores products. She leads everyone to believe that the only reason they are experiencing hair thinning is because of buildup of product and dandruff, and then attempts tonsell them some $30 exfoliating shampoo and a $70 exfoliating hair brush, making you believe your hair will not grow without these things. She uses the monitor to make you see what she wants you to believe. She showed my scalp before and after exfoliating with the hairbrush "look at the difference already!" There was absolutely no difference whatsoever. Its all a bogus scam to get you to purchase the brush. Obviously she cant let me believe my extensions were the problem, because that means simply taking them out would be the solution, and she wouldnt be able to sell me anything. My mother came in because one of her prescription medications was making her hair fall out, which was confirmed by the prescribing physician, so she prescribed something else instead. The Adagio Beauty Supply employee encouraged her to go back on the medication, which is a lawsuit waiting to happen. She should not be giving serious medical advice without a license to practice medicine. The fact that she tells both my mother and I to go back to the things that we have no doubt caused our hair loss, shows how grimey and desperate she is to make a quick buck. She reassured my mother that it was only buildup of dandruff and continued to try to manipulate her into buying expensive hair brushes and shampoos. My mom has never had a problem growing her hair until the medication, and has since grown her hair back from switching medications. This place is an obvious scam! Have a real professional check your hair follicle, because these people just want your money, and will actually encourage you to keep damaging your hair follicle so that they can keep you coming back for more products! Horrible, horrible, horrible people!

Im a witness of how they go out of their way to provide outstanding customer service, even when closed on a weekend as I was attending an IT issue they got a call from a client far away needing an item, they waited for the client, I had to leave but Im sure the person they waited for was one happy client.

The woman running the store, Elizabeth, was fantastic! She was very informative and listened to my entire hair crisis! She made the process of choosing my extensions go easier. Overall it was a great experience, and Adagio will now be my go to beauty supply!
