I had the best massage of my life at this spa with Steve. I had a lomi lomi massage and it really was like nothing else I ever had. Before I talk about the massage though I should say that spa itself was great. It is very friendly and not stuffy. Everybody was very nice from the moment I called to figure out what kind of massage I wanted. Mike (the desk guy) helped me decide on the lomi lomi and for that he is on my #1 list! The whole spa looks like a little piece Hawaii. It is so cute and relaxing I just loved it from the start. They had me put on a soft robe and sandals and I waited in the lounge for my appointment to start. There was fruit, candy, tea, cookies, and juice in the lounge when I was there. Steve came to get me and he took me to the treatment room (which also was decorated in Hawaiian style) where he took all the time I needed to explain the treatment, review my medical form, and answer my questions. Now for the massage itself. First, you can’t be concerned about being naked! You are only covered with a small towel during this massage because the massage is done everywhere at once. Now I am not shy but I am not real free either. However, Steve explained that the massage was a sacred Hawaiian ritual and from his first touch I felt very comfortable and did not care whatsoever about the modest covering. He treated me very professionally, but not prudishly. He was not afraid to just give me the best massage I every had. It was deep, all over at once, just wonderful. I find myself kind of at a loss of words. After the massage I used their incredible shower to wash off the oil. The shower alone is a reason to visit. I highly recommend the spa and Steve. It seems that everyone there is good from my conversations with other clients in the lounge but my experience was with Steve. What a great place.

I went in for my first time and had a Lomi Lomi massage. I absolutely loved everything about the experience! The atmosphere was really calm and instantly put me at ease. My therapist was really knowledgable and I appreciated how he took the time to find out what my needs were and how he can best help. I LOVED the coconut oil… the benefits of coconut are amazing and also it just really enhanced the experience. The massage itself was amazing. I had not experienced anything like that before. I was not uncomfortable at all. I have Fibromyalgia and usually experience pain with classic massage, but did not feel any pain from the Lomi Lomi. The Hawaiian atmosphere was great and really took me back to when my husband and I went there on our honeymoon. I imagined myself laying on the beach which was easy to do as the therapist had ocean waves playing in the background. I also really appreciate the fact that a lot of the therapists are holistic and health conscious. I am a certified health coach so this is important to me. I will definitely come back when I can and will refer all of my clients to this Spa!

I have been a member of Hawaiian Experience Spa for over a year now (one of the best decisions I have made) and recently began having Becca as a therapist. She was just trained in lomi lomi but you would think she has been doing it for years. I was able to have my third lomi lomi massage with her yesterday and almost fell asleep due to how relaxed I was (which I try my best not to do because then the massage goes by much quicker), thats how great of a job she did. She was completely focused throughout the 90 minute massage, the pressure she applied was perfect and the stretching that she did on my neck helped to alleviate some of the pain associated with my TMJ. Ultimately, she really cares about giving you the best massage possible and that is what makes it such a great experience. I look forward to scheduling an appointment with her again soon. I would recommend the Hawaiian Spa Experience and Becca to anyone! It is just an awesome place. The atmosphere is great, the desk staff is always on point and the therapists are well-trained in what they do. It is a great investment!

120 Minutes Of Total Relaxation My husband and I experienced our first Temple Lomi Lomi massage last week. Everything I read about the "Temple" Lomi Lomi massage said it would be much more than the traditional massage I was accustomed to. That it was handed down through the Ancient Healers of Hawaii for generations and would not just be a physical experience, but one of deep emotion that relaxes the entire being to healing. I have to admit I was a skeptic at first, but after my 120min Lomi Lomi massage at the Scottsdale Hawaiian Experience Spa I am not skeptical anymore. That 120mins was so wonderful its hard to describe in words. The long continuous flow of my massage was so relaxing I soon became unaware of my surroundings... just TOTAL RELAXATION!! Michael was my therapist and Mysti was my husbands. Michael and Mysti were totally focused on us the entire time. They are caring, professional and very skilled at the art of Lomi. Everyone at Hawaiian Experience Spa made our time there unforgettable!!! I cant wait to have my next Temple Lomi Lomi experience.

I joined this spa when it first opened in July 2007. Other than when I travel (and get massages), I have never been to another day spa in Scottsdale since joining. I absolutely love every treatment I have received, whether it be a regular Sweedish massage or an exotic one, like the Lomi Lomi. I just had a 90 minute total relaxation massage this week and I was very impressed. And when I am done, I can use the giant shower, complete with body sprays and a rain shower head. The membership program they offer is also great. If you dont use your monthly massage, dont worry. It can roll over to the next month. And you can either get a free massage each month, or use it towards credit of a more expensive treatment. But its not limited to just massages. You can have a facial, body wrap, waxing and more. This is a day spa you should definately try!

Not worth the headache. While this spa does have good therapists, they are horribly unorganized and dishonest when it comes to business. If I could do it over again, I would have never signed up for their membership club. Although, they will try to entice you with future discounts and savings, there are tons of secrete charges that they load up for every service. They change their policies every day to best suit their needs and take advantage of their clients. I would save yourself the headache and never go to this spa. I completely agree with the other review. Yes, Nikki does lie and the management is highly manipulative and cruel. I also agree that the owners do not care as long as they have your money. BEWARE!

You cannot ask for anything better than this place..Its heaven on earth especially if you work out on regular basis and you need to relax your muscles..I enjoyed every part of their service from people to process to ambience to everything..EXCEPT, their cancellation method is a bad business practice...I wish i continued as a member, but i am disappointed with this practice...I was also told that i would have to pay regular price for all the credits i acrrued while i was a member...I am sure this is against some compliance policy..I will post this review not because of my hateful experience, but reviewers can consider this as the best massage therupatic place (just beware of precautions in this memebership rules)
