I started going to Ohana Salon several months after I had complex Neurosurgery, for which about 25% of my head was shaved. I was concerned that the stylist would not respond well to my medical issues or partially shaved head. The stylist (Ron) has been fantastic, working with me regarding my medical issues and physical limitations. Over the past 2-3 years, I have seen him several times and he is consistently great at cutting, coloring, and styling my hair, while working around my medical issues. Ron is compassionately professional and very talented. Because Ohana Salon is an Aveda salon, it never bothers my chemical sensitivities. Its a smaller space, but the layout includes spacious stylist stations, and it doesnt get as loud as most similarly sized salons. Ive tried other salons -- including two different Aveda salons -- and I plan to continue going to Ohana Salon. The pricing is reasonable and the service is excellent. I highly recommend it.

First came here back in 2011 as a visitor and now as a resident to this very day. Joyce C. is amazing at her craft. Follows my simple needs and has impeccable memory for giving me the hair cut I want, which by the way is of the Aveda way from her amazing scalp massages and precise haircut. I even purchase my Aveda products as I gain points from the services I receive. Now, if only they could keep their Esthetician who does facials I would be there more often! Professional from the time I enter to the time I leave, I am always satisfied.

Sarah styled my hair last year and did just what I wanted. I took my husband there for their clean water drive. NEither of us are the type to commit to a hairdresser, but were both hooked now! I love that this salon has a warm and fuzzy atmosphere (atypical of Scottsdale) and supports charities multiple times per year. While my husband got his haircut, my girls and I noshed on yummy snacks (they also provided alcohol but I didnt partake) and my younger daughter got a glitter tattoo-proceeds for that also went to clean water.

OHana Salon is the best! I have been with Chandra, the owner, for over 12 years now, and I am so happy with her services on every level. My experience there is always a relaxing one, and the Aveda products and treatments offered have kept my hair so healthy. In a world where we cant control a lot about the environment, it is comforting to know that the Aveda products are so pure and natural . You will find the staff at OHana to be so talented and professional-what a refreshing combo!

We had just relocated from St. Louis so I did a search for Aveda salons since that is what I used back home. I took a shot in the dark and picked Ohana. Great experience! My stylist Simone is wonderful and really listened to how I wanted my hair styled and colored and offered to call my salon back home to get the colors that they specifically used- so nice! You also get a nice neck/head massage and hand massage while your color sets. Love it!

Me and my daughter has been at their salon for 2 yrs. they are friendly understanding, caring. They listen to want you have to say about your hair and how you like to improve it, or change it. they want you to look good and feel good. if they think the look you are going for is not good for your facial type they will let you know. they want everyone to be their best and look their best. Ohana Salon is absolutely amazing!! Kim has been doing my hair for over 20 years and turned me onto to Aveda products. I am definitely an Aveda junkie!! All of the staff there are super friendly and when you go there you really fell like royality with the complimentary hand massages and chakra sprays. Kim keeps me looking youthful and I love all the various colors she has put in my hair over the years. Ohana is the BEST!!!!!!

I have been coming to Ohana Salon since they first opened. I love the beautiful, relaxing salon, amazingly friendly people, and the location. Chandra has been doing my hair for about 10 years and she always does a perfect job. The few times I have had other women do my hair there (Abby and Joyce) they have also been great! Megan, Sara, Shane are all wonderful to see, as well!

Amazing, professional and friendly staff. I have been looking for a new salon since I moved back to the valley in 2016 and had yet to find any place I was happy with until now. Very comfortable, casual, Aveda concept salon with great service in Old Town Scottsdale. Friendly staff, offers you a beverage before your service and available to explain the services, specials and products. My hair stylist, Erin is personable and excellent. Easily to schedule both online and by phone.

I love the salon. I have been coming here for years. Just like any other salon you need to find your person, Joyce is mine. She specializes in short pixie dos. She is not afraid to go short! She does such a great job that when my hair grows out it still looks amazing. That is not an easy task.
