I went to LaBella Salon for the package which includes a 30 min massage, a 30 min facial, 30 min pedicure and 30 min manicure (I think it may have been called the "getaway" package?). The massage and facial were great (although I suspect the facial was cut short, it went much quicker than the massage, and usually the massage seems to go so much faster because it feel so good). The gentleman who did my pedicure was 30 min late starting, and subsequently rushed my manicure because he ran out of time. The owner/managers boyfriend showed up toward the end of my manicure with a humongous German Shepherd which they proceeded to allow to run around the entire salon. Im a dog person, I actually have a German Shepherd, but I dont appreciate a big dog coming and sniffing me while Im getting a manicure!! And to top it off, she and her boyfriend stood their tapping their toes annoyed with the gentleman doing my manicure because he was running late. They were so annoyed that when I got out to my car, I expected it to be 6:15 or 6:30 (my services were supposed to be done at 6). It was 6:02 by the time I got in my car! The manicure was a horrible, shoddy job, and it started chipping two (count them, TWO) days later!!! By a week later more than half the paint had chipped off, and I work in an office! Its not like Im doing heavy manual labor! I would NEVER return to this salon, and frankly cant believe theyre still in business!

Ive been to this salon for a massage numerous times. Its close to my house and my wife and I really enjoy getting a massage by Diane. She is fantastic! Pros: Spa ambiance is calm and treatment rooms are quite. Excellent massage. Cons: Found it hard to write much more pros than above. Ill keep it short: 1. Owner doesnt allow tips on credit cards. Rather than raising her prices by 1%-2% to cover her credit card/merchant fees some of the staff have to go without tips because people do not always carry cash. This alone really makes you think the owner does not have a clue. 2. My wife nor I go to the salon side because the staff gossip overwhelms the experience. On multiple times we heard stories about boyfriends or complaints about co-workers. 3. Front desk customer service is hit and miss. If you are desperate for a great massage book an appointment with Diane. Otherwise you are better off taking your hair or other services to another place.

This salon is okay. I have been multiple times, liked it at first, then had my color done and it didnt turn out how I wanted. I didnt complain at the time. When I went back for a cut later, I mentioned it to the stylist and instead of an apology, I got some lame excuse. Also another time I had my usual highlights done except this time I did not get my hair cut. Somehow I was charged the same amount as when I get highlights and a cut. When I asked why the cost was the same, I was told it was some sort of fee for it taking the stylist longer to do the color or using more product, the girl at the front wasnt exactly sure. Hmmm thats interesting, I guess I should have gotten my haircut too, because I ended up paying the same amount either way. Makes me feel like they want to make a certain amount of money off of you, so if you cut out a service they find a way to charge you for other things to make up for it. Ridiculous! Not going back!

I recently had a wonderful experinece and felt compelled to post a note of thanks. Far too often, we only comment on a negative experience instead of a positive one. I am a new resident to the area of Chandler and was in desperate need of a new hairdresser. I contacted LaBella and was assisted over the phone by a friendly, knowledgable and polite receptionist. She helped to gear me to the appropriate person regarding experience and price level. My color has always been paramount to me, so I went with a level 3 stylist. The color was far beyond my expectations and the cut was awesome! I would rather pay more money and be happy with the outcome! It was worth every penny and I will be returning to LaBella for my hair and cannot wait to experience the Spa. The salon was clean, upbeat and I cannot express my gratitude enough....it was fun and I look forward to my next visit!

You would think after being voted the best salon in southern chandler the front desk associates would pose an inviting welcome to newcomers. Not only do we judge salons by price, quality of service, ambience but also how the employees interact with eachother and the customer. We visit salons on a regular basis and if the staff had not been so rude it might have been our home salon. When business is good do you reject more?

I have been to Labella Salon & Day Spa twice now and each time I have felt that they cut my facial service short. First of all, treatments are priced high for 50 minutes, and to have this cut short by another 5-10 minutes is unacceptable. I wrote to the owner about my experience and never got a reply - I guess they just dont care. With so many other great salons and spas in the area, I will not be coming back to Labella.
