I checked in with the elites before I reviewed to see what their ratings were because I was admittedly shocked at the low rating! Granted, this was my first time eating at El Pollo Loco and my first time at this location....and it was at 11 in the afternoon. SO keep that in mind. I chose one of their healthier menu items which included broccoli, some enchiladas, and rice. It was really good, filling, and most definitely a better choice than the burger places around it. I felt like I had a warm meal without pigging out, and i had something healthy without feeling like I was missing out. The service was pretty friendly and I got my food pretty quick. I dont really rate fast food or fast casual places too high because there is a certain expectation with them. I know what I want, I order it, and I know how it is going to be every time. Sometimes you get outstanding customer service, sometimes there are moments that stand out, but usually, a trip to one of these places is pretty standard.

I ordered an original pollo bowl combo , the usual , but I was unable to consume the chicken in it due to the fact that it was undercooked , pink ish color and since I had gone through drive thru I couldnt ask for the staff to replace my bowl ! I honestly think the cook should know that the chicken shouldnt be served if its still raw ! The Torrance location on Sepúlveda is much better , the food is always very good and seasoned perfectly ! Drive thru girl was kind , gave us lots of salsas

I wouldnt even give it one star.. slllllooowwweeessstttt drive thru ever.. I actually avoid going here because Ive never ever waited less than 25min in their drive thru... sometimes I just really crave their tostada salads and I think why not Ill give it a chance.. maybe they got it together and it never fails I end up waiting 40 min. I feel bad for the workers... They are super nice.. but to deal with im sure frustrated customers like myself. Over it.

This place seriously needs to look at how they handle a line of people. Over and over again there will be a long line or a medium sized line with someone making a large order with 1 person taking orders only. Im standing in line right now and some giy has taken nearly 15 minutes so far to order and they have yet to put someone else on the register to take orders.

THIS PLACE USE TO BE REALLY GOOD AND CLEAN BUT SORRY NOT ANYMORE NOW THERE FOOD DOESNT HAVE TASTE AND THE KITCHEN SUPER DIRTY SO DONT GET PANIC. TERRIBLE service TERRIBLE food. Got the classic taco salad! they did not even have forks no sauce. My salad had 4 Peaces of meat witch was dark meat not white meat I called them out on it and they played dumb they reminded my why I had no been to crazy lame chicken in over a year! Guess it will be over3 years before I go back

This locations customer service has improved in the last couple of years, Im not sure if theres new management or what but I used to not want to come here because of the poor customer service and everybody messing up the orders. Quality of the food has always been the same, anything you can expect from El Pollo Loco.

This used to be one of my favorites places to eat, it was fast and food was good. However this Pollo Loco has gone from 5 Stars to 0 Stars. Now it takes a long time to be serve and forget the drive thru that takes even longer time, "Once they even ran out of Chicken" if you can believed that!!!

Fast service, but exterior cleanliness could be better. There are some odors outside the restaurant that come from sewage / trash receptacles. People are generally helpful, with few exceptions. Salsas are loaded fairly well, and the interior is mostly well-kept. Good food, overall.

I used to work there and coming from a worker THERE SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE, AND THE LITTLE SHORT LADY (ASSIST.MANAGER) SONIA WAS TERRIBLE WITH HANDLING CUSTOMERS, GAVE EVERYONE ATTITUDE, THEY HAVE BEEN THROUGH SO MANY MANAGERS AND STILL CANT KEEP THE PLACE STEADY

The food is great as expected, BUT the wait time is crazy. Doesnt matter if you go through the drive-through or walk-in to carry out. The interior was just renovated recently so the insides do look great while your waiting.
