All Climate Roofing: Excellent Experience and totally satisfied with the workmanship and service. I contracted with All Climate Roofing in July of 2015 for a roofing inspection and routine maintenance check up. As trying to select a contractor for a roofing job, can be cumbersome and very stressful, I had meetings with several roofing contractors to determine the scope and pricing of the work, as this was the first time, I actually had the roof looked at, since purchasing the home 12 yrs ago. I scheduled a home meeting with All Climate Roofing’s Owner, Mr. Charles Petri. Upon greeting Charles at my home, I was really impressed by his professionalism and knowledge of roofing requirements, codes, and overall savvy roofing expertise. I originally thought, I needed an entire new roof, which would have probably cost me around $30K+, but that was not the case, as Charles actually advised me that the roof only needed a good maintenance and some TLC. There were a few reasons that I selected All Climate Roofing, as my contractor of choice, over many others that were available. 1. Charles was raised and has lived in the Conejo Valley for many years and is a former Thousand Oaks Lancer. 2. His honesty and integrity about the scope of the required work needed with his 20+ years of roofing proficiency. 3. Charles takes the extra time with his customers to sit down and explain every detail about the job. (If you don’t know jack about roofing, you will after working with Charles Petri) 4. His ability to provide a good pre-inspection ( when talking about roofing, you have to remember and be pre-pared for the worst, as you don’t know what’s under the tiles, until you pull them up) 5. Has the best “A” working crew around and always on time for the job start. The Job: Again, originally the scope of the work, was just to be some routine maintenance and TLC, but as Charles and his crew started to pick up the tiles on the roof, they had discovered worn out felt paper, rotten plywood with water damage, un serviceable facial boards, cracks, missing wood, misaligned rain gutters and on and on…. My TLC job turned out to be more that a 1-day project, but Charles took the time to show me, in person, everything that was wrong with my roof. The reality was, the roof needed extra repairs from rain, wind, and sun damage, which we could not see, until the tiles were removed, but Charles was there to help and take care of the situation for me. He properly explained his work orders, managed his crew, and executed all facets of the job from beginning to end. The City of Thousand Oaks building inspector agreed with Charles work scope and approved the final inspection for sign off and building code compliancy. I can go on, and on, but let me say, I have a new roof (75% total replaced), with a 10-year guarantee and a City of Thousand Oaks building code sign off, and the satisfaction that All Climate Roofing put my family first, and made us a priority, in helping repair our damaged roof, for less than half the cost of a total new roof replacement. I highly recommend All Climate Roofing for any roofing project. Charles is thoroughly knowledgeable, explained his recommendations before doing any work, and made us feel confident he was not only fixing past problems but preventing future ones. We received five quotes for repairs, all based on a physical examination of our roof. Charles quote was the most thorough as well as the most expensive, but he was the only one who proposed getting to the root of our roofing problems, rather than covering them up. All other vendors gave me a quote and warned they could find more problems later. Charles had a pretty good idea what he would find, based on his knowledge of roofs, so when he did find wood rot, neither of us were surprised. He also included some preventive maintenance in his recommendations which will help the roof last longer. He did not start work until he was confident all work could be done in dry weather, and as an absentee landlord, kept me informed by emailing pictures of his progress. He provided written quotes for all work performed and cleaned up the worksite at completion. He saved us money by carefully removing loose roofing tiles and reinstalling them, rather than using new ones, and he repaired previous installations that were not done correctly. I trusted Charles from the beginning of the project and was very pleased that I did.

We had a small leak on our roof for quite some time. It was too small for me to bother getting professionals, so I tried to fix it myself (and rest assured I regret it now). The problem wasnt resolved, and it was worsened after some time. I heard some good things about these guys, and decided to ask them to have a look at it. By the time I called them, the problem was quite severe. We had had quite a few heavy rains, and there was some water damage at the top. These guys were quite professional in their work. They were quick in getting the job done (it was important for me to have someone who can do it fast - who wants workers hammering away on their roof for many days)? The job was well-done, and clean. The price was also quite reasonable (they gave us a quote beforehand which beat other options). Really, nothing to complain about. I would recommend them to anyone! I wish I had called them sooner.

We used All Climate Roofing to replace our tile roof. We could not be more satisfied with their work. The crew are very experienced and professional. Charles, the owner, was on the job personally monitoring the progress and quality. Our roof has complicated structure with turrets and many roof facets. When the roof was removed, they also found a good amount of badly damaged wood in the areas where were leaking previously. Charles gave us a very reasonable price to fix all the damaged wood and we went ahead with it. The quality of their workmanship is excellent. We can tell that both Charles and the workers really take pride in their work. The other thing we noticed is they kept the job site organized and cleaned up of all the trash, debris and nails at the end of each day. Overall a very well done and managed project. We highly recommend All Climate Roofing to others.

All Climate re-roofed our seven gabled, 125 year old home 2 years ago. Charles and his crew did an outstanding job. Quality work from beginning to end. Charles was always on the job site. A lot of updating and fixing the roof supports before he could put the roof on. Charles was patient to explain the update work and showed us so we could understand. The crew cleaned up each day before they left. Charles is a very knowledgeable man and an honest man. We would hire him again no doubt!!!

They did a great job on fixing our roof and really took the time to explain why we had problems and what they were going to do to fix it. They were courteous and prompt. They were also exceptional good about cleaning up the job site - we did not find a single nail or debris of any kind. They also did many of our neighbors houses (after seeing ours) and our in-laws. They do a great job at a fair price AND do the job correctly!
