I went there for a minor problem. All I needed was a new battery, but they told me after some inspection that they could tell my water pump was beginning to leak and should be replaced immediately and a couple of other things, thermostat perhaps. I said I couldnt do it at that time would have to bring it in later. I think it may have been a Saturday and why I didnt take it to my regular mechanic, but when I did take it to him the next Monday, they found nothing at all wrong. I ended up driving the truck for another 5 years and the water pump never did go out. So obviously, they were lying and trying to rip me off for a lot of money. Surprised an investigator hasnt caught them by now.

I just called Auto Doctor to get a quote on what it would take to complete a clutch job on a 1999 Jeep wrangler. I was told they couldnt do it because they didnt do the whole job. I asked why this was and she told me "its what the boss wants" and then hung up on me. The female secretary was probably used to being rude to customers, but that is no way a busines a is supposed to be ran. 1 star because of the very rude business and customer service and the way they treated there potential clients. Not a good way to end the year...

Of course if you always trust them youre going to think theyre honest. Next time you bring your car in for something and they sell you on something completely different get a second opinion. I took my car in for a tune up and they said my ball joints were bad. When I said Id do the work myself they said they were so bad it was too dangerous to drive on the street. I took it to another mechanic they showed me there was ZERO play in the ball joints. They werent bad and they were no where near "too dangerous".

Auto Doctor is an excellent shop. I have had both of my cars smogged here without an appointment, and the wait time was reasonable. Auto Doctor has also changed my oil, done routine maintenance, and last Summer fixed a huge air conditioning problem for me. Pricing is competitive, and the work has always been done correctly the first time. Thank you Auto Doctor!

Dont take your car to Auto Doctor, he is a crook. I went to have my car worked on at the Auto Doctor, and when all the work was done, my car was in worse shape than when I brought it in. He barely fixed anything and he charged me 600 dollars. I will never take my car back there again.

These gentlemen are so incredibly honest and good at what they do. I cant believe anyone would smear their name. I have a pretty reliable car, but Id never take it anywhere else.

I brought my car to Ron one time and it ended up being a loose wire. No charge, chuck Patterson charges you even if they look at your car briefly and kind find the problem.
