Ive been coming here for 2 years now and I really never have an issue with the machines upstairs. Theres plenty to accommodate all runners/walkers. I think they can upgrade their treadmills along with their weight machines, their all outdated. I always see the custodians cleaning and wiping down equipment, which is nice to see. What bugs me is the fact that they staff dont follow their own rules. With signs that say " re-stack your weights" and " no gym bags allowed in weight area" weights are rarely ever in its correct place, I always see gym bags. Its like they dont care what their members do. As long as they posted their little signs the workers are in the clear. I have to agree with half the members that wrote a review, the front desk rarely ever acknowledge you. They scan your card and thats it. Ive tried saying hello like humans were introduced to since the beginning of time and you get nothing back, youre lucky if you get eye contact and a nod of existence. The trainers seem to only be cool with you if you hired them from personal training. I wish I can give more stars but, every gym is like this. It is what it is.

My wife and I went to use our 3 days free passes to evaluate LA Fitness since we had been to 24hr hour Fitness and like it very much, the experience was awful. 1. Instead of letting us excercise and test the facilities they rather went on with their imposing 1 hour long sales pitch and questionaire 2. When finally they decided to show us around the girl was asking us that had never been in the gym what we wanted to see, instead of having a pre-planned full Gym showcase 3. When finally they come with their prices, they are not that competitive since they are missing several components among them they are not open 24 hours 4. When finally we can move on to use the gym the lady says that if we dont have specifically a California Drivers license we cannot go into the gym The manager then came and said that anybody would do, but my wife was already pissed so we just ended off leaving PS. The fact that we went with my Father-in-law a Gym member for 20 years didnt help at all, so they are not kind with you for your tenure either...

This gym had potential for being a 5 star now they just screwed it up. To start of the remodeling date kept being changed everytime saying there not finished. Then after being done the place smell like wet paint no biggy but then they go on and take away the steam room without asking or being concerned if their members wanted one. This place had the best steam room in the area now such a inconvenience and slap to their members. Then worse part they dont have ZERO hangers for you to put your towel or stuff in the pool area or in the mens sauna. This gym would have been top one if they kept their steam room and actually cared for their members! Seriously considering canceling my membership this company doesnt care for their members just their bank account taking their monthly share of doing nothing for us. If a new gym competitor raises up with sauna and steam room you bet they will be losing members if your going to pay for a expensive membership they might as well have everything available.

The gym doesnt have enough machines compared to other gyms. There are a lot of obnoxious, insecure people working out at this gym. They used to have kids working at this place on the front desk that were getting stressed out just saying hi to people walking in and checking their membership cards, so they would give clients that wouldnt give them any attitude really bad customer service to release their frustrations on nicer people. Overall this is a place that seems to hire people the managers want to hang out with, and not those that can actually provide courteous customer service. I would only join this gym if I wanted to get stressed out for no reason by immature front desk workers and get ripped off by the obnoxious sales managers. The managers also do sneaky things such as giving free memberships to local business owners in exchange for free food and free services. I used to work at L.A. Fitness and I have seen this first hand.

One of the staff members (middle-aged, no hair, darker/olive skinned, hefty, male) was shouting at another male staff member from his open desk next to the main greeting/reception area. The guy was saying "Ill make you shut up," and "eff-this" and cussing and degrading the male sitting at the desk adjacent behind the false wall. Everyone working out near the front area could hear this staff member and was looking over at him. He was making everyone uncomfortable including the Latina staff girl at the reception desk and gentleman sitting in the chairs up front. It was so unprofessional and invasive the guy should be fired. He made the guests that could hear him have an unpleasant gym experience not to mention the staff that he works with. I suppose he was a GM which makes it even worse as a brand image for LA Fitness and their corporate offices. I dont want to work out there again.

I was going to this club for a few months. I decided to cancel because I became too busy to go. I went in person (like they told me to) to cancel I spoke with a manager assistant and she said everything was ok and that I was cancelled. A week later they called me saying I owed money when the down payment covers first and last. They said it had not been cancelled. So I told the man there to make sure it was cancelled, his name was Adam. Now another week later I got a email saying I had a balance still even though Adam had told me that there would be no balance. Now I have to deal with corporate. Unfortunately they are only open mon-thurs.

Gym equipment is very old! If a machine breaks down be prepared for it to take at least 2 weeks for them to fix it. Employees working the front desk should be working at McDonalds! They cant do a simple task to check you in. I once forgot my is tag and I was up at the front desk for at least 5 mins the girl find me after I gave her my name, address and email address... then she says "oh! Its under ur last name!" Immature kids working there! And all of the personal trainers there are perverts trying to pick up! AVOID this place! Poor management and staff! Been to better LA Fitness gyms then here by far!!!

Ive been going to this place for over a year now, yes the parking lot its crowded most of the time, front desk employee its always polite and they always notice me walking in or out of the place they have lots of equipment and yes its outdated but its still in very good condition and they have all the equipment I need, the place its kept clean including the locker area, my only suggestion is dont wait too long to have the repair guy fix the machines when they break down , that only brings you more bad reviews.

They were terrible people! I tried to sign up but when it got down to prices 24 was over $200 dollars cheaper! When i said i wasnt interested they took my on a tour. I still said no. Find out the following day i was charged $100 dollars? I didnt even give them my credit card. They operate at a criminal level. I am sewing, i will take as much action as i can. The guy that was trying to sell my practically harassed me and wouldnt let me leave! Dont ever go to this place! They are horrible!
