Ive been at better 24 hr. facilities and while this one is OK, it was better two years ago when I moved to the area. I have yet to see any managers making rounds. The young adults working at the desk are often in discussion with each other and I get no sort of greeting. I can live with that, but when I reported a faulty treadmill it was pretty much ignored for the next couple of weeks. One never sees staff making rounds in the pool area or showers (except the janitor). The pool area has one bench and no hangers so folks just put their big bags on the one bench leaving no seating for anyone waiting for a lane. No water extractor machine to soak up excess swimsuit water as in other 24 hour facilities. Shower drains slow or clogged. My last shower included someones razor and hair on the drain (I always wear shoes). OK on the positive the classes are mostly fun with enthusiastic trainers. In short its relatively clean and you can go there and be totally ignored which is not always a bad thing.

I love 24 Hour Fitness! I cant and wont stop saying enough good things about these gym to yelpers and non yelpers. I was going to a different gym awhile back ago and I must say you cant compare the two. I start out about 6:30 in the morning, but the staff greets you with cheerful "Good Morning" hands you a clean towel and says have a great workout. The exercise machines all work fine, and if by some chance they dont, they get fixed asap. I believe they have an in-house guy who takes care of them. Most everyone who goes to the 24hours seems to be highly motivated, which kinda makes you get motivated on the days your lagging. I dont know much about the pool area but it looks clean. The weights are mostly racked, but sometimes it can be a mess but thats at later times. The personal trainers know all the know-hows, and are friendly. (dont worry feel free to ask questions) Its a wonderful place, the best investment to yourself you can make. ,

The billing is ridiculous. I joined and added my wife with there special. At the beginning of every month my wife walk in and sign in at the desk. Like clockwork, she is admitted while it says that I havent paid my dues. I check my bank statement an d the money is always taken out early but taken out indeed. I have to call corporate and get the same answer: we dont know what hapened". It gets old and its embarrassing. I told corporate that if it happens one more time, I would take my wife and kids who are also on the plan somewhere else. The next month the same thing. The gave me a free month and guarentee it wouldnt happen again. Today will be my 1st time on a new month. Cant wait to see if Im declined again. I read the reviews at Golds, the closest available for me and it looks like all these corporate gyms follow the same handbook. I wish Ballas wouldnt have been bought out. 11 years there and not 1 problem.

My old gym closed down and gave a weeks notice, so i had to find a new gym quickly. I toured this gym and other gym (Anytime Fitness) I picked this one because it has more than one shower. Im so glad i did. Since im still new here Ive only had 3 visits so far. The place is clean, neatly kept and maintained. They mustve recently upgraded the TVs because one other reviewer said they had old TVs and couldnt hear the sound. The cardio machines have a plug in port to plug your ear buds in and you can select the tv you want to listen to from your machine. I was really excited about this since my old gym didnt have that. All the machines (cardio and weights) are all in good working condition. The staff is helpful and the other members are friendly (Ive seen a lot of smiling faces around this gym). The crowd is older folks and young peeps of different races, very well mixed crowd. I know im gonna be very happy here.

My husband and i decided to renew a gym membership and we quickly canceled. This was our main location and i can tell you that it is a waste of money. Most people cant go to the gym in the middle of the morning or afternoon. Understandable that there are peak times however, this gym is poorly maintained and they let high school kids use it whenever they feel like it with NO MEMBERSHIP. They dont rush to fix any of the broken equiptment, nor are they investing any of the members dues to bring in MORE equiptment so they can manage thier crowd better. Dont waste your time.

Although sometimes parking can be a pain during peak hours, the facility itself is wonderful. Got all the things youd expect a premium gym would have. Tons of machines to work out every part of your body. Along with a lot of cardio machines of various sorts such as Treadmills, stairmasters, stationary bikes, etc... As far as cardio goes, Im primarily a treadmill person and even when its really busy, I never have a problem getting one. They also have an indoor pool and jacuzzi. Just an overall great atmosphere with really nice staff and trainers.

The equipment is not well maintained, the restrooms are always dirty, the air conditioner leaks above the inner thigh machine, the staff is phony and all together I am very displeased. I have been a member for almost 10 years and it stinks that this place is falling apart. I try to bring the issues up with staff members and they pretend to acknowledge me and then fail to address the problem. Sure, lets allow our machines to be broken and not put an out of order sign. Lawsuit waiting to happen.

Just try to get them to turn down the volume of the music and you will be met with a blank stare by the receptionist who claims the person who has access to the volume controls is out of town for 4 days. The volume is so loud you cant converse with other members, nor hear the music on your own I-Pod. i really enjoy the gym, except on the weekend mornings, the woman that does the bike classes always leaves the glass door open and everyone in the whole gym can hear her BIG mouth, ive gotten off the exercise bike atleast 4 times to close the door, myself along with everybody else dont want to hear her BIG mouth,we all want to listen to our own music with our own headsets, PLEASE CLOSE THE DOOR WHEN YOU START YOUR CLASS,PLEASE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wish i could.give negative stars, these guys are thieves, they tell you your member will be on a freeze, however still charge you.... and if you wanna cancel it cost about 250.... i would suggest you go lift at a smaller gym because this corporation is corrupt and will get rich by slowly taking 36 dollars from you every month!

while the gym may have met our needs, the pressure to sign up for trainer sessions was intense and made even thinking about going back to work out a nightmare. You should only consider this gym if you want personal training. Dont step foot in the door otherwise.
