Huge Yeti

I was late like for maybe less than 5 minutes cleaning up my unit. The gate closes sharp at 7:00 pm; my mistake of course. However, I was greeted by a bark from the manager stating that I was lucky that somebody else was going to be late unloading. He mentioned that the only way to get out was to call 911 and that I am responsible for paying the 911 fee. I understand that this was my fault. However, there was no first-time-mistake-forgive-and-forget. Instead I was treated like a vagabond that somehow violated the rules of conduct. I thanked him for opening the gate and left thinking "thats no way to treat a paying customer". This treatment was akin to Dutertes reign when he was in office in Davao; shoot and ask questions later. I will not recommended this place to anyone as it seems to be run with an iron fist.

Security Public Storage 99 Hyde Court, Daly City Calif. 94015 is just right off of King St which is just down the street from me. It is so close it takes 5 minutes to get there. The owners are great. Wehn I signed up for my space they told me about the specials going on that month. 50% off for 3 months. I didnt even have to ask. What a deal. They are kind and so helpfull. The facility is great too. The floors are the redone with metal, the kind your see on the floors of pickup trucks. This makes it easy to roll the dollies over with no bumps to knock things off. The facility is clean. The lighting is fine. All areas are lighted. My overall experience has been terrific. I would recommend this place to anyone. Rick - Daly City California

Everything you would expect from an excellent self storage facility: security, cleanliness, safe accessibility, and professional attentive staff. I appreciate that John and/or Evelyn are ever present and helpful in answering any questions about the facility. Despite the recent wet weather, neither the facility nor unit feel clammy. All of the hallways are well lit and monitored, spacious, and there are always carts available to transport items from the conveniently-located parking spaces to the (two) large elevators. Also, there is sufficient room to maneuver a loaded cart through the doorways and hallways. Use of SPS continues to be a very positive experience.

I know I have been with this facility for at least 15 years and maybe more.I have never had anything but the best of service. I feel safe entering the premises at all times and deeply appreciate the fact that they have a clean bathroom that customers can use. The new people are professional and courteous. I am disappointed that as a long time customer, I have never received any discounts or customer appreciation notice of any kind, even as the rates have gone up.,(which I do understand in this economy).All in all,I wish all of my storage experience could have been like this one....keep up the great work! Security Public Storage is legit - reasonably priced, easy to work with, clean, and feels secure, as per the name. Only complaint would be the nightly 7pm lockdown - had a few frantic evenings after work trying to ensure that everything was shuffled about prior to the deadline (the security aspect of a nightly lockdown makes a lot of sense - 7pm comes earlier than one would expect though). Definitely recommend reading the reviews prior to selecting a storage company - many looked great until you read their customers horror stories. Was pleasantly surprised with the quality here.

So secure youll get locked in after 6:30pm. The place is clean and has many dolleys for you to use to move things in and out which is convenient. The staff I met John is very nice and courteous. Each storage unit is armed with an alarm if you dont open the gate with your own code as an added security measure. However, I dont know how they would check cause I definitely set off my own alarm on accident a couple of times. The price is definitely a bit higher than other places but you can get a good discount for the 1st month and 10% off 2nd if you write a review.

If you are picky about your storage facilities like me, you will find that "Public Storage" is "excellent". The facility and units are very clean, convenient, & cheerful helpful management! They make it easy to move your "stuff" into your unit because they have trolley carts and elevators! After working very hard to fill up your unit with your "stuff"; you will find nice cold sodas, water, and a very clean restroom to wash up. There is really nothing more you could wish for from this great storage facility. Lastly, the manager, John, he is the best! !

I like the new office they made for the managers. It has a great view, and I truly believe that if you keep your employees happy, they will do a good job for you. So Kudos to the owners for the improvements. Also, they have made numerous improvements over the past few years and they keep the place in tip top shape. I feel like my stuff is safe here, not only because the building is in good shape, but because they hire the right people to work here. We did our research on all the local storage companies and Security Public Storage had rave reviews. John, the manager of the Hyde Ct. location was very informative and along with the staff, ranks very high on customer service. Their facility is very secure with cameras that do not malfunction (like the other local storage companies) and an alarm system for every unit. Payment reminders are sent every month which can be paid online or in-person. I highly recommend Security Public Storage for all your storage needs.

The staff, both John and Evelyn have excellent customer service! I always look forward to talking to them with their friendly and professional attitudes. FIVE STARS FOR THEM!!! The corporate and how the online accounts are handled, however, is a different story. Their policy needs to be more flexible and accommodating. On line access should be simpler. Very disappointing for a client who has been utilizing them for so many years and has recommended their storage facility to others...

The Security Public Storage facility in Daly City is well-managed, clean and competitively priced. Its location adjacent to Hwy 280, makes it easy to find and easy to get into and exit, especially with a large truck. There is always easy parking and access to lockers. The building was designed for storage and the hallways, lighting and entrances and exits make it easy to move things in and out of the premises. I recommend it highly.

The Daly City, Security Public Storage is still a favorite storage site among the other bay area storage facilities. The (Husband and Wife) Managers are nice and personable. As compared to the "others facilities", which are either located near the Skyline Blvd. = Fog and Wet Weather = Mold and Mildew (HINT), and its not way down into South San Francisco Industrial Areas (abit isolated and a further distance to travel to and from.

This place is awesome, two thumbs-up. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs a storage space. I visited a couple of public storage places before going to Security Public Storage and none of them can compare to the rates and level of service this place has to offer. I also like the fact that my storage space is in an area of the building that has been remodeled. The new diamond-plated floor rocks.
