I have never taken the time to leave a review, but given my experience with the El Dorado Hills post office, I felt compelled to take a moment to share my thoughts. The woman who delivers our mail speeds through our apartment complex daily. Every day. Not once in a while. Daily she is driving 40 miles per hour in a 10 mile per hour zone full of pedestrians and children. Every time I have ever had the misfortune of speaking with her she has made it clear that she hates everything about her job, and she made it a point to share her displeasure with me through cursing, yelling, and general rudeness that I wouldnt expect to receive from an addict who is withdrawing from meth. So after years and years of watching this witch speed through my parking lot and treat everyone within her reach like an insect, today was the straw that broke the camels back. I ordered some probiotics for my daughter about a week ago- My wife stayed home the entire week so she would be home when they were delivered as they are extremely perishable and are also critical to my daughers health- She cannot digest without them and the scene at my home right now is not pretty- So as im watching my 6 month old scream from a tummy ache Id figure Id jump on here and let you all know that no one knocked on my door. No one rang my door bell. No one called me. No one left a slip in the mailbox. No one told the people at the office that the item was perishable (it was COVERED IN PERISHABLE STICKERS). Nothing. Complete negligence. This may not be a great time for me to be writing this review as I am furious beyond words but between this awful human being they employ and their inability to deliver a package, I had to take a moment.

We have a history of having our mail placed in other peoples mailboxes. Recently we did not get any mail for a week. We contacted the EDHPO and were told there where no stops or holds on our mail. Two days later we received a big bundle of mail with a vacation hold on it. Apparently one of our neighbors placed a vacation hold on their mail and it was applied to our mail by mistake. On Friday We found a key in our mailbox indicating we had a package in the below compartment. When I unlocked the door, there was no package. I checked the unlocked compartment next to it and found my package inside. It was sitting there in an unlocked compartment for anyone to take. Today we picked up our mail and again and found a key indicating we had another package below. Again we found nothing in the locked compartment and our package was found in the unlocked compartment. So twice this week the mail person put the key to compartment number 1 in our mailbox and placed our package in compartment number 2 which was unlocked. Now we are missing a third package that shows it was delivered on Saturday. We have been on hold for 20 minutes and show no sign of getting through to the post office. EDHPO has very poor service. The problems are on going and trying to contact them by phone is impossible. Looks like we will have to drive down again to file a compliant with the post master.

If there was a no star they would get it. I signed up and paid for the premium forwarding service since the post office will not do a hold for more than 30 days. I was gone 5 weeks and the forwarding never happened - they held the mail for the entire time. I went into the post office and asked about this and was told it must have been an oversight and that would check it out and call me - the call never came. I did, however, find out that if you call the post office that if there is no one to take your call that it rolls over to a message which tell you that youve reached them during normal business hours and there is no one to take you call so just call back later. Seriously - if this was a normal business they wouldnt last more than a week. After literally calling 10 times I got a live person who said that they have refunded my money. Ok, they earned their one star. Lastly, even though my mail stop ended last Saturday, they were still holding my mail. Oh wait, there is more. I asked for all the mail that was held to be delivered to me last Saturday - that didnt happen either - strike the one star, theyre now back to zero. For years I defended the post office - not sure why, but no longer...

We have a business in the EDH business park. Most of the carriers who pick up our daily shipments are courteous and accommodating. However, there is one that does not seem to understand business very well. He shows up everytime before scheduled and tells us, "No, I will not come back. You have one time to give me mail. You must bring it yourself." He is very rude. The USPS needs to send him back through training and teach him, "USPS works for US, we do NOT work for them." He does not know what customer service is, even in the simplist of transactions. Today, 9/1/2016 we were told by a shipper to "refuse" the package they sent us because they shipped the wrong order. They wanted to pay the return fee from the post office rather than have us bother with reshipping. He refused. He said, "No, they ship to you. You must accept." He is the only person taking down our satisfaction from a 4 to a 1. He shows no business courtesy or service to their business customers. No other business would employ this man.

I called into the USPS office today to complain that we had not received our mail in two days...we had been expecting several pieces of important mail and hadnt received it... when postal worker answered the call she asked for our address, she then said "oh yeah, your box was recently broken into, its now been fixed and all of your mail will be delivered today" ...I was absolutely shocked and livid to hear this...when I asked why the USPS didnt tell us about it she said "oh, well one of your neighbors reported it, it was broken into in the back"...I told her that when we drive by and open our box with a key in the front we dont look in the back, all we see is the front; I told her they should have told us about this...send out a notice or something...I also told her thats why the USPS gets a bad name...COME ON, YOURE BETTER THAN THIS!...tell your customers whats going on!

I had lost package with $1K designer handbag this Monday (June 19th), and I called USPS headquarter as El Dorado Hills Post Office has NEVER picked up the phone, the lady said that someone signed the delivery, I told her that I was working at home entire day to make sure to receive this package, but nobody knocked the door, who signed the package for me??? I do NOT think my neighbor signed the delivery for me as my neighbors are wealth and educated, they know its considered "crime" to sign the package for others. I suspected the El Dorado Hills post office delivery man/woman..., it happened once in 2015, I called the police officer to investigate this incident, didnt catch the suspect... Hopefully, police officer may catch the theft this time!
