Ive lived in Carmichael for over 30 years and have nothing bad to say regarding the Carmichael post office, Ive had a box with them ever since they were on Palm and have always found them to be professional and courteous. I will say that I do feel bad for the garbage they have to deal with from some of the more obnoxious patrons . I run a home based business and as such am in the post office 3 or 4 times a week its about a 2.5 mile walk from my house and I walk there almost every morning. At one time Carmichael was a nice place to live, it was the type of community where on your walk to the post office people would take the time to say good morning to each other. Well that all changed after the rents skyrocketed, The more conservative Carmichael became the more obnoxious and rude people became, Seems like the conservative better than thou crowd has moved in and they simply have no time to be pleasant or courteous. It seems like every time Im in the post office theres some inconsiderate buffoon in there making a fuss out of nothing usually the same person whos on the phone babbling about the Kenyan in office , More often than not its some woman glued to her phone and then when its her turn at the counter she has the audacity to get mad at the poor guy behind the counter because he cant figure if shes talking to him or the person on the other end of her phone.. It would be hilarious if it didnt slow the line down so much.. There is an old Bible quote regarding treating others as you wish to be treated and Im thinking that many of the people posting bad reviews calling people morons should take a long cold hard look in the mirror, Chances are more likely than not its youre own inconsiderate, obnoxious attitude that is responsible for your bad experiences in life..

I made a purchase online February 7, 2016. I used the tracking number to check arrival date. The update indicated that the package went out for delivery February 12th, 2016. It is March 29, 2016 and I still do not have the package. Ive called the company I purchased from and they tell me what I already know - the package was out for delivery on Feb 12th. I went in to the Carmichael post office to inquire about the package and was told they didnt have it but they would do some more checking. I contacted the Post Office again to find out about my package and again was told that it was not there. I left my phone number as requested and to date I have heard nothing. Do we have postal workers that are that untrustworthy that they are taking customers property for themselves? I have to wonder since the day my delivery was to take place my regular postal carrier(a male) was out and a female carrier delivered the mail. The products I purchased were cosmetics. I cannot help but think that she thought shed keep them for herself. I want the product or the $44 I spent on it and I think the USPS owes it to me.

Have a package from Amazon being delivered here. A blanket for my daughter because we just moved and over half our things were lost. Including her blanket. I found this usps on google and decided to read the reviews. And the majority were bad reviews. I can see why. The lady I dealt with had horrible customer service. She had the attitude that she didnt even want to deal with me. Wouldnt let me talk and explain why I was here to pick up my package as opposed to it being dropped off. She kept rudely interrupting me saying I was out of luck because the carrier doesnt deliver to mailboxes that dont have the name on it. I just moved and they havent put my name on it yet. She shrugged her shoulders. Then the manager walked out and she turned around and explained the situation. The manager said she would have delivered today. I thanked her. Im stubborn when it comes to professionals who are rude to customers. I wanted to bite her head off. But the manager saved the day. I feel sorry for community attached to this post office

This post office is the worst post office I have ever dealt with. They are horrendously unorganized and do not communicate well with each other at all. It has been three different occasions within three months that mail has not gotten delivered to me and that they have left me a slip to pick up at the post office, each time my things supposedly not being there. Yet I come the next weekend and they are miraculously there. On top of that, there is always a long line and wait time when I go there, so why do they open so late? I always have to wait until the weekend to get things straightened out because of this. And not only that, they seem to never answer the phone nor do they have an answering service. The two people I have dealt with each time Ive gone there, one woman and one man, have been extremely rude when Ive tried explaining my situation and asking if my items are there. Just absolutely awful service overall. I wish I had a different option as far as what post office delivered my mail.

Worst post office ever!!!!!! they hire nothing but morans.!!... The postmen can not even read a simple address. I have lived here in Carmichael for 12 years and they have yet to get it right.......Marconi ave is not even close to looking like Robertson ave . I think these guys must be on drugs or something..... , they are forever delivering my stuff to Robertson, and vise versa , .....I get this poor guys (a veteran) medication all the time, and I have to deliver it to him, because these morans cant read.How can someone get Marconi ave and Robertson ave confused? Um Yeah they dont even look like the same address.......for this reason and this reason only I wish I did not live in Carmichael....The Carmichael post office is embarrassing. This manager is well lets just say not the brightest crayon in the box....I am ashamed to say I live in Carmichael .........

I have a wonderful mail carrier! When he has a package to deliver to my door, he also brings the regular mail. All the other carriers will bring the package but leave all the regular mail in the box. He always greets me with a smile and doesnt leave my neighbors mail in my mailbox. The problem is the Post office moves the carriers around. I hate it when I get a replacement or stand in. I experienced a lost package this past holiday season. It said the package was delivered, but it wasnt delivered to me. A neighbor brought it over to my house later that day. NO WHERE on the post offices website, is there a place to contact them to ask them, where they left my package. They dont want to have to be that accountable. It wasnt my regular carrier that delivered that package. He recognizes my name and knows where I live.

Worst service Ive ever experienced. We just moved to Carmichael a month ago and everyday Ive had missing mail and I continue to receive my neighbors mail as well. Ive had 3 checks not make it to me so far because of this clearly under qualified mail man who demonstrates that he obviously lacks attention to detail, and simply doesnt care enough to clearly read the addresses on our mail boxes. Today I watched him deliver the mail to my street and checked my box right away. NONE of the mail in there was addressed to my house so I walked all of the mail to him and he shrugged and when I asked him where MY mail was he said thats all he has and got into his truck and drove away. When I try to call the post office all I get is a busy dial tone. Horrible. Ive had enough and will boycott the US Postal Service immediately.
