I like everything about this place! I went in to get a 10x10 unit to store my stuff while I was in between houses. Mike was awesome and made it really easy to pick a unit. He gave me a tour of different sizes to make sure I choose the right one for my needs. Its well lit, CLEAN and easy to pull in and out of. Oh and they have music piped in....usually classic rock or cheesy love songs but whatever- sometimes I wanna jam out to Tina Turner while looking for some random document that is packed in the very back of my boxes. Fast forward 3 weeks- I actually ended up having to go back and rent a second unit (5x10) because I moved more stuff from my temp situation. Corinna was also super helpful and kind, she got me a bangin deal on my second unit. She suggested I just go to 1 larger unit to save money but just the thought of moving all the stuff again made me need a drink so I opted to just pay more for the second unit. Even though this place has hours it is for your benefit. It is all video monitored and extremely safe, well lit, clean and all employees are super friendly.

Encinitas Self Storage truly has taken excellent care of me over the last few years. I am a Medical Device Rep, and will continue to need a unit pretty consistently Sometimes storage places are not friendly, the facilities are not very clean, etc. When I moved to Encinitas, I found them, and have had nothing but a great experience. I especially give a "Kevin" Special Service Award to Deanne, the Store Manager, and Tyrone, who both really impressed me with their assistance! I would suggest to anyone needing a Storage Unit to use them. 5 stars to Encinitas Self Storage and staff!

I am disappointed in my experience with this storage facility. The units are blazing hot, poor accessibility, and limited hours to access the unit. It also didnt help that the costumer services was poor and difficult to deal with. The move-in process was easy but after that you are not treated well. Also, I purchased a lock for the unit and was not told that it had to a special lock. They locked the unit and required I pay for a new lock for my final month. There are a few other storage units in the area that I have noticed have better hours and far better storage space.

I have had experience with a few storage centers in the past and I do think Encinitas Self Storage is one of the best. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the cargo elevators are great (although a little rickety seeming), and they offer very convenient online payment methods. They also have deals sometimes to get discounts on your first months of rent, so watch for that. The only downside in my experience is that it is a little too dark near our storage unit, so just make sure you get a unit with proper lighting when you are picking one out.

I had to relocate back east only able to take clothes & books with me in my van. I found Encinitas Self Storage only 5 minutes from my former residence in Cardiff and made many trips there to fill up my new storage space. I found the employees friendly and cooperative, the rates competitive, and the areas clean and well maintained. I sleep more soundly here on the east coast knowing my furniture, mattresses, artwork and accessories are well taken care of in Encinitas. Storing my personal items in Encinitas is my "ticket back home".

Encinitas self storage is the cleanest storage center I have ever dealt with. The staff was very helpful when I rented my space and also subsequently when I have had any questions. The center is set up so as to be very secure which makes me feel confident about my storage items. I love getting my invoices through e-mail, it certainly helps to keep me organized. Okay, I know storage units are not exactly fabulous, but this one is as close to it as you can get. Mark, Tami, Ray and Jerry are absolutely awesome. Always a smile on their faces and ready to assist. We have rented here for the last 8 years and I cant imagine having to work with anyone else. Courtesy calls and e-mail if youre coming up on a late, always clean and very secure. Most definately recommend this facility. A+++

Ive stored things here off and on for over 5 years, but the service here has really declined. The staff is quickly defensive and rarely willing to go the extra mile for you. I feel held hostage, moving my stuff is such a pain, but I dont really want to continue giving them my business. Add to this that I have been referring my friends to store with them over the last 5 years and I feel like Ive really been let down.

They work tirelessly to keep costs reasonably low and are accessible for discussion whenever necessary. If you live in the Encinitas area, this is your best possible option for storage period!

Karina was great! Deb and Adrian were fantastic during the previous rental, so I came back. Rental space is so clean, and the walls wood lined and smelled great. Cant say enough good about this place! Oh, and there is a great chocolate candy jar while waiting at the counter, and they offer cold bottles water to customers. :-D

I guess this unit is the worst in encinitas these people They dont have respect human they dont give any chance to help the people I understand everything has rules But they Dont Care I if you are in struggle time and the world is that Little Girl trying to be the perfect manager when is the worst in there

Sadly, I have had 2 units here for over 10 years. Never had a bad experience, hallways are clean, personnel are friendly and helpful. I only say "sadly" because I want my stuff to live with me and that has not happened yet. Highly recommend Encinitas Self Storage!
