Just showed up at your Encinitas location at 6:50 after checking the website that stated open till 8:00 on Sunday. The girl refuses to serve us and states they are closing early. There was another gentleman in there waiting for his food. When I state closing time is 8:00 she starts stammering about Fathers Day. It seemed like she just wanted to get out of there. Either your website should have "holiday hours" posted or you should get some employees who want to do their job. We have had catering provided on three separate occasions but will not be returning to this location again.

Old school customer of surf brothers. Used to come here when it was tokyos teriyaki like 20 years ago. Love the food. They have a limited menu and its amazing. They serve chicken, steak with white or brown rice with salad. salad. They also have the most delicious chicken sliders. Owners are super cool. I emailed them using the website and they emailed me back within a few minutes.

If all you want is meat and rice this is the place for you! The chicken is good. Beef is so-so. I personally did not like the texture or flavor. They dont have any side dishes except for a salad/coleslaw. Their teriyaki sauce is good. Make sure you ask for extra! Speaking for myself...I wont be back. :( Side note...the staff is very friendly

The menu is small but mighty! I love that this place does teriyaki really really well. Ive never had a plate of food I didnt like from their kitchen, the price is right and their is vibe perfect for So-Cal. I feel like I have to restrain myself from coming here all the time because its just so delicious. Surf Brothers is awesome-sauceem.

Only three items on the menu, but you will never ask for anything else. Actually its four items if you count the tasty little chicken sliders. The guy who took my order was nice and my meal was hot and fresh. I tried both chicken and steak and I really like the steak better, so I order the steak again and loved it.

Great place. Have been going here since late 1990s when was called Teriyaki Brothers. Simple menu and delicious. I like to get the lite bite chicken or steak "opposite" (more coleslaw than rice), then mix it all together with a lot of their signature sauce and siracha. Delicious and healthy

DELICIOUS! Really, Surf Brothers Teriyaki has delicious food and they are very quick. While food choices are pretty much limited to chicken, steak, or both, I think this is why their service is so quick and their food so good.

Easy to eat with tasty teriyaki steak or grilled chicken. Inexpensive. Its a quick in and out restaurant. Staff are pretty nice. Good for lunch. Parking is easy.

The steak is phenomenal and the chicken sliders are so good!! Im at the restaurant 2-3 times a week or more!!! The food is soooo good!!
