Our company had a grand opening event on June 22, 2017 in Fontana, California. We needed to find a caterer for our event. We found Ashley Catering, and based on their Google Rating of 5 stars, we decided to use them for our event. Everything leading up to the event was great. However, from the event forward, they were extremely unprofessional. The day of the event Ashley Catering was supposed to arrive at 8AM for their 2 hour window to set up to be done by 10AM. They didn’t arrive until after 9AM and were still setting up as guests were arriving. We didn’t even know they were going to be delayed until I had to call them to confirm their ETA. Once they arrived, the 3 staff members, (we were told there would be 4), though very nice, were slow to set up. Their presentation skills were lacking, and I had to go and ask them to make the very sad looking platters more abundant and appetizing. Their food was also subpar. We placed an order for bacon wrapped chicken skewers, finger sandwiches and pinwheels and bruschetta. The finger sandwiches looked like a kindergartener cut them, they left crusts on. The bread was squished and unenticing. They were not presentable for what we had paid for this event. The pinwheels were messy and the bruschetta were tiny. I had to bring out our facility popcorn maker just to offset how terrible the food was. Then we had issues with their dessert, which was store bought. At $21.00 per person, I would expect something that wasn’t from a supplier like Costco, Sam’s Club or Smart and Final. I would have expected something made in their kitchen. We also paid an additional fee to have the attendants serve the food, and we have photographic evidence on multiple occasions that this wasn’t the case and one was on her phone constantly. When brought to the company’s attention after the fact in looking for compensation from this embarrassing event, we were given the run around, had to call multiple times to receive answers and basically were fluffed off by them saying “they considered the event a success.” The way they are handling these real grievances are completely unprofessional.

Ashley Catering was wonderful to work with from first request for quote to our final goodbye. My organization (Riverside Co. School Board Association) just had our Annual Spring Conference. A gathering of top, community leaders and stakeholders from across two counties (approximately 140 guest). Not an easy group to impress. Philip and Ashley Caters did just that. From working with me to make the changes and adjustments needed pre-conference to the final yummy red velvet cupcake. The service was stellar, polite, quick, timely and flawless. We opted for buffet service, 140 people were served an amazing meal in approximately 25 minutes with smiles, care and style. Now the food: roast beef, rosemary chicken, roasted red potatoes, summer veggies, Auju pear salad, strawberry lemonade, raspberry iced tea, finished with assorted cupcakes and coffee. This listing does nothing to describe the meal. The beef was cooked just right, medium rare, throughout the service. The rosemary chicken was light, fresh, juicy and fork tender. The potatoes were tender yet crisp, the veggies were light, tender and bursting with flavor. The Auju pear salad tried to steal the spotlight, fresh strawberries, pears, crisp greens and lilting vinaigrette. As if that was not enough the finishing touch of mini Red Velvet, Chocolate and Lemon cupcakes served with a rich smooth coffee made for an amazing and impressive meal. Oh, how could I forget the Strawberry Lemonade and Raspberry Mint Iced Tea. I have to admit I could not stop refilling my lemonade, it is addictive! Along with all of this the cost was right on budget, with no hidden cost or fees. I can not recommend or thank Philip and Ashley Catering enough. Because of them a very diverse and hard to impress group were just that, IMPRESSED, with Ashley Catering. Not only will RCSBA be using Ashleys services again I had a number of guest take business cards with hopes of using them for events they have coming up. Thank you Philip and staff.

I just want to start by saying, if you are looking for a reliable caterer who will put your wants and needs as their first priority then Ashley Catering is your best bet. I came across Ashley Catering while planning my parents 25th anniversary party, after looking through their website and comparing it with others I came across this was an obvious choice for me. Whenever I had a question or a concern about something all I had to do was send an email or make a call; the longest I ever had to wait for a response was maybe 1 day. So when it comes to customer service they are the best! Now when it comes to the food I definitely was not disappointed. The food was so good that we ate the leftovers for the next 2 days, and there were no complaints whatsoever. I do not see myself using any other catering company besides Ashley Catering in the future. The best company hands down! I have no regrets.

We had Ashley Catering for our wedding 2 months ago. We found the catering from searching in Google, we didnt even try it before booking,. First reason, it was because we had no time for sampling foods and second was because we believed in the reviews and the rating the catering has. We were so glad we chose Ashley catering and were so satisfied! The owner is friendly and helpful, the service was awesome. The food was so amazing, we had St. Louis spare ribs, baby back ribs, chicken satay, garlic roast potatoes, macaroni salad, BBQ ranch chicken, Thai grilled chicken salad, rolls, beverage service, and appetizer trio. Everyone was happy, and they talked about the food. Thank you Ashley Catering, you made our wedding day perfect! Would recommend for sure.

Philip and his staff catered our wedding on Dec. 29th, 2014 at the Riverside Art Museum and they did a WONDERFUL job! Everyone commented on the food, which was far from the typical wedding fare. He prepared a wide selection of delicate odourves and entrees consisting of roast beef and salmon that were a big hit. His staff was courteous and attentive to our guests (about 60 in total), and he took care of sub-renting place settings and would even accommodate our last minute requests. I dont write too many reviews, and as my wife will testify, I am very critical - so this in of itself should be enough assurance that Philip and his team will make any occasion or event youre planning a memorable one! We hired Ashley Catering for a small business meeting. They provided a delicious breakfast: Spinach Feta Quiche, Applewood Smoked Bacon, Seasoned Potatoes along with fresh fruit, orange juice, and coffee. The best part was the cheese danishes!!! They did NOT disappoint! Their staff was courteous and professional. They worked (set-up/clean-up) within the prescribed time frame. The presentation was professional and the moment our attendees walked in the room, they felt an added sense of elegance to the meeting simply because we added this catering service to the event. Ive recommended them to others in the department for their events as well. I hope to work with them again soon.

Ashley Catering catered the luncheon for my grandfathers memorial service. They were excellent to work with. Philip was very responsive by both phone and email. He responded to my emails within minutes. They were on time to set-up for the luncheon and they were very polite and respectful. The food was great and there was a lot of it. We ordered enough to feed the number of people we had in attendance that day. In fact, when my mother saw how many people showed up to the memorial service she was concerned that there wouldnt be enough food, but there turned out to be more than enough. We even had leftovers to take home. I would definitely recommend Ashley Catering.
