Ok. First when I just signed up (October 2016), I was very exited, and after first class that I attend I was even more happy. I liked this gym for being clean and great classes that were offered. But my one star goes to the rest that just ruined my whole impression about this place. Apparently freezing a membership doesnt do nothing and you still being charged. Moreover, the stuff didnt inform me that they refreeze your membership not by clients request (I was told that its up to 3 month), but after a one month by their own choice, WITHOUT CONFIRMING IT WITH A CUSTOMER. Even cheap LA fitness charges you less while your membership is frozen, and you refreeze it when you start using the gym again. I got my membership frozen on October 28th, and never went to this gym since then. Now I found out that my membership was already active in December. When I tried to communicate with a manager Dash Cramer, he didnt even bother to answer my email on time. I still havent gone to the gym, even though my membership is active. As a costumer, I feel completely not appreciated. And really dont wanna deal with this company anymore. The only fact that I signed one year contract doesnt let me to cancel it. Please be aware when signing the contract - their contacts are worse than leasing agreement. You have to die in order to stop being charged.

This is a pricey gym that I never though I would join. After joining various other places like 24 hour fitness and LA fitness, I realized why this place charges so much. Everything is always clean, all weights are in their place and all the equipment is top notch. But for that much money I would also expect hanging boxing bags and maybe a pool. There is gym called 360 that I used to play in a basketball league, for $50 dollars a month it makes this place seem like a rehab clinic. The 360 place had a boxing room with bags, a basketball court, racquetball ball court, a pool and an enormous room for cross fitters. If this place gets a little bigger and ads a few more things it will be by far the best place to go to between Studio City and Tarzana.

Please go to Equinox first and then shop around. I didnt want to pay the price but after I shopped around it led me back to Equinox. Other Fitness Spas are great if you have a family? If the work out is just for you and not the whole family then Encino Equinox is where you want to be! Clean, Professional and always Positive!!!!!

Clean, well maintained equipment and facilities, super-friendly staff who greet you by your first name, and competent managers who responded instantly to comments I had made in a survey. There are cheaper options but really you get what you pay for here. Great club.

Grwat place! Equipment is always available, no lines, place is not that busy. Stuff is polite and allways smiling. Showers are clean , plenty of parking, best return for my dollar.
