If you want to be ripped off, go see Expert Tire. Went in for an alignment and came out with a $2,400 estimate. It included needing all new rear brake discs and front end struts. Was told could not align without replacing the front struts ($1234). Also was told rear brake pads needed replacing. I normally take my VW to German Motors in Arcata for repairs, but they dont do alignment. So I had a 2nd opinion done by German Motors pulling off the rear drum covers as you cant inspect them without doing so. Both rear drum pads had over 70% wear left on them! Obviously Expert Tire did not even check the pads! Went to Simple Performance Automotive on Giuntoli (formerly part of T P Tire service) and had alignment check. Verified that struts did not need replacing for the alignment. Joe there is an expert with electonic alignment. I called Expert Tire and found out they are corporate owned by Bridgestone/Firestone. Keep your money local and dont get ripped off. Unbelievable!

Absolutely awesome experience. Had my suv towed down there cuz it was leaking. They looked at it real quick told me the issue and didnt even charge me. The gentleman that looked at my car even gave me advice on the severity as i was on a road trip far from home. They couldnt fix the issue as it was not something they did. But went above and beyond to help me in all ways possible. Highly recommended!!!!

Inexpensive and truly care for their customers. I cam in for an oil change and they told me other things that could be done but were honest if it was just upkeep or necessary. And they were able to do what I needed right then except when it was close to closing, which I appreciated not having to schedule and come back.

The fact that I was just there on Monday and they failed to tell me my brakes were bad. Its Friday and now I have no front brakes thanks to these idiots. Like I would have bought them if I needed them....all that bullshit about preventative matenicne and keeping the value of my vehicle maintained is a bunch of crap

Good service, but in the services they supply are rarely available. I called about an alignment i needed, because i have a firestone liftime alignment and the soonest it was availble was in 3 days... maybe train your staff and not have 1 competent person whose rarely working???

I was very happy with the service, i dont know much about auto work prices, but my family feels they are reasonable with their pricing. They also get the work done fast within their time estimate. I hate getting work done on my car, but they really make it less of a pain.

Terrible customer service. Shabby workmanship. Bad alignment done that ruined my tires. And employees that cut down other mechanics. As far as getting work to your car youd be better off with a backyard mechanic of Craigslist than the mechanics of this business
