I took it there because my vehicle there because their was oil going in my water pump and I specifically told them if it was the motor that needed to be replaced to call me and I would not want to spend the money on a new motor. after I took it and supposable they found the issue they said it was an easy fix and that the motor was good. I was so happy and said okay proceed on replacing what they had said what it was. Once the fix it and they called me to pick up my vehicle I notice the one hose was disconnected and the car was shaking and was worse then when I took it in the first time. then I called them back and I said the issue is still there and water was leaking as well. I took in the second time and they failed again to fix it. I requested my money back and I had paid them $1,150, as they only offer store credit and spoke to manager and they only reimburse back half of the labor charges which was less then half. please make sure when you take your vehicle to confirm to you of the diagnose before you pay them. I will never take any of my cars and I would not recommend this place as well.

I was taken advantage of and I do not appreciate it. I took my car in for a diagnostic, which they said was free, and the mechanic told me he would have to keep it over night and take the battery out of it etc etc, I said fine. After he didnt call me the next day to tell me my car was ready to be picked up I called him and to my surprise he tells me that Im looking at a bill of over $200. Why? I came in for a free diagnostic and he tore my serpentine belt, didnt even give me the option to find a replacement myself which would have been cheaper, and made me pay the ridiculous amount. Best part is I call corporate asking them to handle the situation and they did nothing about it. I have not been reimbursed for even half of what I was charged and I will be taking this matter to a higher authority. Just because you need your bills paid doesnt mean you should take money out of my pocket, I have bills too.

went for a estimate, instead they end up taking it upon themselves to completely take the engine out and LEAVING IT OUT WITHOUT ASKING or have my permission to do so. so when I went back I couldnt and wasnt able to take the car which I DROVE THERE IN. instead they basically held the car until we paid $7,000 to put a new motor in when we went for an ESTIMATE. there was absolutely no reason for my engine to be out the car whwn i went for a ESTIMATE. Please ask them to put down exactly what theyre going to do on paper before you leave your vehicle, which I warn you not to do. they got good reviews, but they basically did what thieving mechanics do, charge you for stuff you dont need and say theres a problem with one thing when really its something else. My case they took my whole motor out and wouldnt put it back in until we paid 7000.

I was on my way back home to Idaho when the engine light lit on. It made me nervous because I had to drive many hours through country roads at night. I happened to find your shop and you guys treated me very well and quick, so that I could be back on the road again. The mechanic (Hispanic) took his time out of his lunch hour and fixed it in no time. Since then, no more engine light trouble. What a peace of mind you guys gave to me that day. Worst customer service from their manager ..Whats the point of asling for a diagnostic, making an appt, taking half day off work and than having hom tell you he does not have the time to finish and bring it back some other day!! I have used sacramento.aamco.with no ossues but this one sucks and I would not refer anyone to it!!

They should have a rating that doesnt include stars...if you want your car to sit in the shop for five days with no explanation of what theyre doing, bring your car here. If you want to be overcharged for bad work, this is the spot. Nice Job Aamco! Ill be contacting corporate shortly...
