I wish I could give more stars because Dennis was so amazing to work with. In looking for a new auto shop/mechanic to take care of my car first and foremost is trust and, of course, competency. I found Enjoying Mechanics through the AAA website (as they are a AAA certified mechanic) - so, the competency seemed addressed. And, all the other Yelp reviews told me that Dennis was upstanding and a good guy. My experience totally proved it. The first time I visited him on 9/9/14 for an oil change he was courteous, thorough and very efficient. While waiting I spoke with a long-time customer who told me how her allegiance to Enjoying Mechanics was solidified based on how Dennis stayed late on a New Years Eve to take care of her car. Shes been going to him for years. Its these little things like gong the extra mile (no pun intended) that make the difference. On that first visit, I knew I would have to have my belts and air filter changed. Dennis spotted this and recommended they be changed. So, on 9/11/14 I had this service done - in and out in 25 minutes - and, they always recognize AAA discounts!!!! Great service, great price, trustworthy, kind, and just really decent guys!! Thank you both Dennis and David for your service!!! Im a lifer!!!

Enjoying Mechanics did a great job. I brought my daughters Infiniti there in late 2015 and they did a great job at a very fair price. Early this January of 2016 I thought I needed new brakes and brought my Lexus to their shop because of my prior great experience with them. They told me my car was ready and was ready to pay for the complete break job. They said I only owned them $33. I was shocked. They told me my brakes were fine and only charged me for some other minor item I needed done. I really appreciated their honesty. I have extensive experience in the auto industry and it can be "dirty" business many times. That is why trust in your mechanic is so important. I am a good judge of character based on my audit experience of auto shops. Enjoying Mechanics has my trust. They met my important desired trifecta of trust, competency, and friendliness. Wow, this is easy for me.. I first met Dennis way back in the day (early 80s) as a mechanic working for Kelly at Enjoying Mechanics, and have since followed him as my service technician when he launched his own business "Smartt Choice Automotive" and now, full circle, as the owner of Enjoying Mechanics. If youre looking for someone caring, honest, trustworthy and dependable then you cant go wrong by taking your vehicle to Dennis at Enjoying Mechanics... I highly recommend his services to anyone. I have taken three different cars to Enjoying Mechanics over the last few months. They are very straight forward a lay out what they can do and what is OK as is. They give you options to fix or not fix. If parts become a challenge they have been creative and contact wrecking yards. Again options are presented and decisions made. Everything got fixed and we are very pleased. I am a mechanic so I know when I hear the truth or not. Trust is so hard to find in a mechanic but I trust Dennis and his team.

I have been coming to Enjoying Mechanics for a few years now. Dennis is a straight up honest guy! He just tells you what you need and doesnt add on extras. He fixed my breaks and timing belt, so nothing too major. He even does my oil changes! I just call the day before and Dennis usually says its ok to come the next day. I would recommend Dennis and his staff to anyone who has a simple fix to major ones. Thanks Dennis for being awesome!

This was, without a doubt, the best experience I ever had with a mechanic. They knew exactly what the problem was right away, they told me how they were going to fix it, they told me when they would have it done and the cost was no surprise. They got everything done so fast I just about cried, I am going back there if my car needs it. They are fantastic, I wish I could give them six stars.

Dennis is one of the good guys. As a woman, it is always hard to trust that the mechanic is not going to lead you astray with all kinds of extra and unnecessary "fixes" that just wrack up your bill. Never got that impression with Dennis. In fact, one time he actually told me that I did not need a service and should come back several months later. Easy to get an appointment, very personable.

Ive been coming here off and on over the last 8+ years, between two different cars. Hes always been upfront and honest about what needs to get done, the bare minimum/optimal solution to my car issues, kept within his time estimates, all at reasonable prices. Small garage so consider it "exclusive" if youre able to get an appointment (i.e. they are THAT good).

They are very straight forward mechanics - they check-out your car and let you know what work is needed and then its fixed promptly at a fair price - instead of presenting a long list of should dos, probably neededs, etc. I have been to them twice and the car always seems to run better even after just an oil change. Cant wait to take in my other car.

I may not know what they are saying (given that I know zilch about cars) but they always take the time to explain things and give me options when they can. I love this place!

We find him to be very honest and very competent, always helpful when we have an urgent mechanical problem with either of our "elderly" automobiles.
