BEWARE of Classique Cleaners!!! On about Sept. 1, I dropped off items to be cleaned which included a silk blouse for which I was charged extra because of the delicate nature of the blouse. I did not object to the additional cost because it meant (to me) that precautionary measures would be taken in the handling of this garment. Approx. 3 weeks later I picked-up my items and upon removing the plastic from the blouse, I discovered numerous holes of varying sizes (some as large as a quarter in diameter) throughout sections of the blouse. Upon closer inspection it appeared to me that some sort of solvent/cleaning material had spilled on the garment and actually ate away the fabric as opposed to tears in the fabric. I immediately went back to Classique to report the damage. Interestingly enough – the owner remembered my blouse and immediately responded with “my guy" (off-site cleaning person) informed me that there were holes in the blouse when it came in, and that he (the owner) gave the ok to go ahead and clean it in spite of the supposed damage. I argued that there was no way I would have paid to have the blouse cleaned if it was as badly damaged as it was when I picked it up. And to exacerbate the matter, the owner offered me $25 as my compensation. Ridiculous!!! He then increased to $30 after another long period of negotiation. Just unbelievable!!! His so called “compensation” included the additional cost I had already paid for the cleaning. I declined it and promised him that I will let the whole world know about his corroded business ethics and unethical customer service. So here you go… dry-cleaning patrons, BEWARE! Why take the risk when there are so many dry cleaners around?? Stay away from Classique Cleaners – it’s risky business!! For reference, a few 1-star reviews for this establishment experienced either missing or broken items. What a coincident. Or is it?? We should all boycott Classique!

I dont mind paying for great service however I was never told that there is an additional charge for next day service. He knew I was out of town and he took advantage of a situation. Charged me $3.25 a shirt and insisted that I come in after 6pm. When I asked for a15% discount on his website he frowned. When I asked for a receipt that did not reflect the charge he remarked just count your change (Not happy with the 15% off). Never return again when Im in the Fremont area. There are other dry cleaners Im glad to pay $3.25 a shirt for a better experience!

Ive been going to Classique Cleaners for four months now and am very happy with the service. My clothes have always been returned spotless and on time. I also had him alter a shirt, a pair of pants, and a dress, the latter of which had been refused by another tailor because it was kind of a tricky job, and they turned out great.
