I used to have 24 Hour Fitness. I left the gym because I would always feel so uncomfortable. Men staring at you like your a piece of meat, and women parading around and almost nothing activewear. I would drive to 24 Hour Fitness and wouldnt even get out of my car because of the anxiety I had. So I cancelled my membership. And then Chuze Fitness opened up by my house in Garden Grove. I took a tour. The colors are vibrant and welcoming, the cleanliness of this facility, and their no intimidation policy makes it an enjoyable facility to workout at. Its very diverse and theres people of many different ages. Like any other place there are cons, like the hours of operation vary, their sauna is a really small, and theyre kind of like Nazis when it comes to wearing shoes in the sauna. I on the other hand dont think its very sanitary not to wear shoes because people sweat and oftentimes go from the swimming pool to the sauna and track water. If you dont wear shoes your socks will get wet and you can get fungal infection like scabies. Other than that this is gym is amazing. The cost is great. The amenities are awesome. You can take a guest on Friday, Saturday, and Sundays. I highly recommend it.

Updating my review; I primarily work out at Chuze Westminster but once in a while I will hit up the GG location since it has Steam and Sauna... First off the Westminster location exceeds this place by far, it is less crowded, better kept, customer service, and even the patrons (I understand they cannot control this much). They have remodeled and definitely looks better giving a artificial grass area to workout, similar to Chula Vista not as nice though. Improved Sauna as well, but this locations gets too crowded during the week they have a useful chart to see peak times but unfortunately I cannot come in past 9 and seriously expect to have the energy to work out the same. Front desk staff has gotten slightly better in terms of courtesy. Bathroom upkeep could be better enforcement of No cell phone use and monopolizing machines could be better as well. Also they got rid of circuit training area a huge negative . Love cardio cinema though. Chuze needs more locations hopefully in South County which would be really helpful.

This place is great. The staff is very friendly. My boys love the kids club and I do too....the girls are so nice, they even know me by name. The gym is well equipped that even on a busy night you will find exercise equipment available. Love the cinema cardio room, use it everytime I go. The area dedicated to abdominal workouts is pretty cool. I am a regular sauna user, using it after working out completes my workout....but sometimes its broken or too crowded or not hot enough....this is my only complaint. Clean, plenty of workout choices, child care, tanning beds, massage beds, sauna, steam room, pool, TVs everywhere, lots of classes, and really well priced. But you cant please everyone, thats just how it goes.

I was debating between signing up here, 24 Hour Fitness in the City of Orange by the Village Mall, or at Fitness 19 on Beach & Garfield by my old house, so glad I chose I mean "chuzed" Chuze. One of the cleanest gyms I ever set foot in my entire life totally non intimidating everyone is super warm & friendly, all my best friends go here and they love it!! Only $10 a month for basic membership (youd be spending 3-4x that over at 24) and $20 if you want tanning, massage, and access to all the clubs. I went with the $20 option and have zero regrets whatsoever. Always look forward to coming here every morning on my way fo work (less crowded!!) and hitting it on my way back. You wont regret it. "Chuze" Chuze!!

Everything else is fantastic.. however.. swimming pool water is pretty nasty. I stopped going to 24 in GG because I got infections from swimming in that pool. This one also has toilet floating in the pool.. disgusting!!! I really hope there is some kind of solution to keep the water condition better. It could be the people who are using it. seeing the same thing in the same neighborhood and different fitness centers. In the morning, there is no change room available because these Asian ladies are living in there.... No common courtesy for others what so ever.. I dont know if fitness itself can control the members to change, but just giving you a tip if you are considering this gym.

I like Chuze a lot. I first signed up at this location and the price was right, the selection was good, and the hours were killer. Chuze itself is a great gym. There are a few reasons why I cant give this location 5 stars. 1. Too many people. I know Chuze cant control this but it gets really overcrowded here. 2. The wifi hasnt been working for the last 2 months. 3. compared to the Fullerton branch, there are a few pieces of equipment this place is lacking. It really disappointed me that upon my return its not working concerning the wifi. Because of these reasons, I primarily go to the Fullerton Branch which in my opinion is far superior.

This place is clean and lots of machines to use. Lots of serious people who want to work out of course from time to time you get a group who messes around too much and hogs the equipment longer than necessary. The dumbbell racks could use heavier weights and they need a straight bar on the two preacher curl benches along with the two ez bars. I havent checked out the pool and sauna even though I can with my pass, but I do take advantage of the massage. Other than that this place is cool the staff looks pretty friendly I havent talked to them and the right amount of male and female ratio. I go everyday in the evenings.

Its a nice gym and all for the price definitely the best value. People that work inside arent necessarily most helpful people. Theyre generally younger folks that have a nice relationship among themselfs to the point where they wont notice you comming in or out. I also would like chuze to do what 24hr has recently done with those annoying key chains. Partner up with samsung and allow key chain to be stored in samsung pay. That way i can scan my phone then carry keychain around the gym.

I love this gym, the although VERY crowded, the machines are usually clean and there are a lot. The cinema room is a neat idea except its always full. The pool is what I use the most although there are always spectators who just hang around and watch me swim or swim really slow. Im in there to exercise not meander around in the pool. Also they need to clean their showers. There is always lots of black hair clumps everywhere.

Iots of machines, even have a theater with treadmills which I dont use coz I lose my balance in the dark and its clean. only complain is the free weights area gets crowded sometime and hate when ppls drop the weights and grunt even though there are signs tell you not to, I guess they cant read...

This gym is kept pretty clean. The people working out here is nice too. The pool used to be dirty toward the weekend, but its kept fairly clean now. The only problem i have is the sauna. Some people goes to the sauna right out of the hot tub and make the floor very dirty.
