I agree with everyone else. Great Customer Service!! However, there is one employee who stands out like a "shining star." Let me rephrase that. The Assistant Manager "Elena" is more like what would be described as a "STELLAR CONSTELLATION." I cant think of any other way to describe the OPTIMAL, PROFESSIONAL, AND PERSONAL service I have experienced here. Lets just say she is not any regular manager. Her dedication, patience, attention to detail, understanding, compassion and focus are the things all employee handbooks should be modeled after. I can not find enough positive words to express the gratitude I have. Elena is someone who I would recommend to anyone I know with storage needs. Having to store personal belongings can be very stressful for most people and she is a person who displays comfort, and confidence for anyone going through a tough situation. I say this because of a number of things she has gone above and beyond the call of duty. I just want to thank her for her passion for what she does, and the ability to make someone in a horrible situation feel they are significant in the universe. I went through separation after 25 year relationship. CHAOS. In the MIDDLE of this horrible separation my car died. For me to move most of my stuff without a car/van/or moving truck she let borrow a moving dolly and watched as I fumbled my way back and forth up NORWALK Blvd from Parkside Townhomes moving most of all my furniture all by myself (what a spectacle).lol. That right there blew me away. She was like no problem. Thanks When it came time to move to the new place I lost my key somewhere in the process of HWN GDNS and Huntington Beach. I looked everywhere. So I called Extra Space Storage, and Elena answered the phone. Well somehow or another someone found my ky and she told me when they were found, she said to herself "I bet I know who these belong to. as she watched me progress through this move from hell. So she personally said "i better hold onto these." Thank God because Here we go again. ABOVE THE CALL OF DUTY. Last time I was there I needed more storage, so she gave me an amazing rate to up-size my unit, and finding one very very close to my original unit. Once again "STELLAR ELENA." When I was in the office, another customer came in and I overheard them talking about someone trying to break in and caught someone she told the customer the she said that thought it was him as he drove by in his white truck or something. PERSONAL CONCERN for her customers and their belongings!!! Once again, she blew me away. I dont know who reads these reviews, but whoever the CEO, COO, OR major stockholder at Extra Space Storage is, you better watch out. STELLAR ELENA may have your job...... Thanks a MILLION for ELENA..........CORPORATE GOVERNANCE OF Extra Space should pay close attention to what she does, because the kind of service she has provided to me, and I am sure everyone else lucky enough to have her serve them,,, time and time again, is what every corporations "KEY PRINCIPLES" statement tries to achieve. WAY TO GO THANKS ELENA!! You are the best!!

I needed a place to put the things I could not fit into my new home during and after a move. I wanted a place close to my current residence. I wanted to pay a lower end price if possible. I did achieve all those goals at the time. Since that time I receive regular price hikes for my unit that seem too frequent and too much for my little low-maintenance space. The limited hours of access to my unit is inconvenient because I am not available on weekdays and work is quite far from the unit for me. There have been several times where various roads or gates were unavailable and the only notice was a handful of fliers that were tacked up a few days before. No mail, phone, or email notification that I would not be able to drive in or access my unit was made, something that strikes me as quite inconvenient. Finding a cart is nigh impossible. When I moved it the clerk mentioned that other tenants would hoard them so I was prepared for this. Be prepared with your own dolly, muscle, or other solution. Lighting in the hallways of units is a bit questionable, but since I dont go very often I dont know how often it is addressed when lights go out, perhaps I just had bad luck? I originally signed up because it was close and cheap. I got exactly what I paid for. The people there are very chatty and personable when you can find them but it seems like they can be overworked and understaffed at times. If I had the time, vehicle transport, and motivation I would see about shopping around for another unit, but since those arent available during the hours I can access my unit lately, I stay and get exactly what I pay for.

When I began calling around to various storage units for rate quotes & availability of units, I found Extra Space Storage to have the best monthly rates for the unit size I was inquiring about. What was most important to me was having drive up access since I was renting a U-haul & had limited time to load/unload, I needed a unit that had drive up access so that unloading didnt become another tedious task. I was able to reserve the unit over the phone & paying the remaining balance of total move-in cost (as per move-in special advertized), I felt that the move-in costs were very reasonable considering all the other expenses I had incurred throughout the move. Their storage units are very clean & well maintained by the helpful, friendly & caring staff at this location. They made the move-in process, so quick & hassel-free that I was very pleased with the fast & convenient service I received, yet I was still fully informed & felt at ease & confortable about my choice to rent a unit from this location. The employees take the time to build a rapport with their customers, which shows me that they actually value their customers & care about thei individual needs as well. I have had my storage unit with Extra Space Storage since last year & I wouldnt think of renting from another Storage company/facility & would definitely recommend this facility to everyone who has storage needs, not just my friends & family.

I needed to get a small storage space over the summer for my personal belongings since I was moving from one state to the other. In the past, I tried Public Storage back in San Diego. It was only cheap for the very first month, and it became very pricey.As I was researching, I found the Extra Space Storage and was shocked how much deal they were giving to customers! I wanted to give it a try and I am glad that I did. Storage is totally gated and secure. Employees were very friendly and nice. I reserved my space over the phone and when I got there, it was very convenient that they have put lock on my storage space already and it was ready to go! Making payment is easy as well that you could easily make monthly payment either automatically on your card or through the website. They have all different sizes with very good price. It is easy to access, affordable, and secure. So what more can I ask for a storage? I am very satisfied with the service and the deal Ive got. I will use it again in the future and I highly recommend the Extra Space Storage to people who need a storage space for their valuable personal belongings!
