This review is not Poor-Fair, it is Unacceptable. In December 2012 I towed my car to Maffeis in HBG. I received a verbal estimate to do the minimum required to get my car running. A fuel pump approx. $792.00 and an ac compressor approx. $1100.00, for a total of $1892.00!!! They gave me a bs story about why they could not bypass the ac compressor, saying that they have bypassed the ac compressors on big trucks, but it could not be done on my car because it is too small of an engine. They told me the fuel gauge would work if I replaced the fuel pump. Its great to know people that know about cars, they both smelled a crook. So... We took the car 1 block away to Cejas where they repaired my car by bypassing the ac compressor, and its been running great ever since. My charges, $284.00!!! Ive waited 3 months to post anything because I wanted to make sure my car would continue to run. Well it runs great, and I didnt need a fuel pump and I still dont need one today. Im upset because I feel a local small business tried to rob me of my hard earned money. I am grateful that I was able to take the car around the corner where I should have taken it in the first place. Cejas has always been an honest good place to take my vehicles. Ill never think twice about referring Cejas. As far as Maffeis..... With friends like them who needs enemies. Thanks but no thanks.

This was the first time for me to bring one of my cars to Maffeis Automotive. They fixed everything that was broken with excellence. I also took my car in for what I thought was going to be a whole brake job and the guys actually said my brakes were fine and had plenty of life left in them. Excellence and integrity.
