im rating this so low because my experience has been not what i thought it would be from my first day joining there. I only still attend due to me being stuck having to pay for a 12 month period before I can cancel. I was never informed of this when signing up and felt taking advantage of after asking to cancel and then told I was unable to. the gym is old doesnt feel as clean and new as I think it should for the price. the only perk is maybe working out on the roof on a sunny day. I go to the gym 6 days a week and mostly use 24 hour as I feel they have exceeded my needs far more than this place. I dont mind paying for quality thats how I live my life this place is over rated.

Place is fairly nice, but not worth the price. There are several reasons for my rating: water machines and fountains are subpar, mats for stretching are not wiped as regularly as they should, amongst other things. Most importantly, do note that you are LOCKED IN for a whole year when you first join. Theyll slip in that bit but strongly emphasize that you can quit any time, but (not very surprisingly) only after your first year. Its true it has more amenities (steam room, gazebos, bar, etc.) than other gyms, but if exercise equipment is your main priority youll find that other gyms will probably have more of them (squat racks, Olympic platform, etc.).

Ive seen many fitness clubs. The Equinox Irvine definitely is the most spacious one Ive seen. The front desk people are all very nice. Theres a lot of staff making sure this gym stays very clean. Theres a hot tub, pool, outdoor patio, full bar and restaurant, racquet ball rooms, indoor basket ball courts, large cardio and weight rooms, etc. I can stay here all day! Eric, the facility manager, is doing an awesome job updating this Equinox from the old Sports Club.

Every time I walk in the people at the front desk are super off putting and rude, the comments that have been made to me are almost comical, I work in customer service so I hate leaving bad reviews but I am so fed up. Its super over priced and just really not worth it. All around it has been a very disapointing year spending way more than I should have for a gym. Cant believe Im saying this but 24/hr is actually better.

Nice club with great selection of classes and knowledgeable instructors. I received the BEST massage of my life by the Spa Manager, Nathan today! He is amazing! I went in with pain all over my body and left relaxed and completely free of pain. I was also impressed to learn that non-members can book their massage at the spa and enjoy all the facilities of the club the entire day!

This is an amazing facility! The staff is very proffessional and friendly. I appreciate that Tiffany (new member sales) did not pressure me to sign a contract but instead educated me; allowing me to make my own decision. I love this gym!! It is very clean, open and spacious. Everything you could possibly need & more.

Am Amazing facility. I am there in the lounge every Wednesday day night at 6:45 PM to meet my guest for our Kangen Water demonstration. If you work out here or care to come be my guest please just walk on the lounge and ask a loud for Calvin. I will be expecting you.

Really cool gym but super depressing that they dont support the military or offer discounts for our vets. Really sad being that so many sacrifice so much in order for them to have such liberty. :(

Nice but expensive~great smoothies! I pay over 200 monthly for membership monthly & over 700 down. Too much but nice to get away from daily hassels.
