I have been going to LA Fitness since 2014 and this gym in particular for the last 7 years but I have decided to leave this comment and not go again to this no mans land! I have talked to the staff many times in the last few months and also the "general manager" and told them WITH EXAMPLES! that its such a shame, the way things have become in that place but I have observed no change whatsoever. You walk in it is absolute chaos and it is 8 pm , not even during peak hours. No discipline of any kind! Weights are all over the place. The equipment is getting old and takes them months to replace! things from a simple clock on the wall took them one month before someone shoved a battery in the damn thing and It took them three months of lame excuses like "its been ordered and it takes time" to repair the one and only leg curl machine, it was ripped so bad it could cut your skin! Bathrooms are just a mess and so disgusting that are almost not usable! Urine everywhere in mens room , and I have heard about ladies cleaning products being all over in the ladies room. I have tried to convince myself that it is me but every day there is something to piss you off. I have no idea where some of the new customers and people are coming from , they are the worst I have seen in my life! no etiquette! Wearing headphones singing their songs so loud you can hear them over your own headphone, grunting and making noises while doing weights, dudes walking in yoga classes with shorts so short you can actually see their business hanging out and if that is not enough to get attention the loud grunting will do that, some people smell like they just smoked a pack of cheap cigarettes, some have very bad body odor, some not even cleaning the benches after using them so bad you can actually see the thick layer of sweat on the bench. And the worst was the other day that I saw this ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING thick huge yellow loogie in the water fountain drain and when I told the staff about it they said they will have some one clean, it was still there after an hour! The only time I saw them saying anything to a customer was when I actually saw them pulling a very nice athletic girl aside to tell her that according to their policy ladies should workout with full t-shirts on! Go figure!

0/5 The staff is extremely rude and pushy. They do not answer questions regarding memberships properly, and when they do, they deny what they had said, and say that person did not know what she was saying, when in fact she had been promoted to be the manager at a different location. The classes have good teachers, but they are overcrowded and dirty. Nothing is cleaned there and you are just swimming in other peoples germs. There is only one cleaning wipe in the entire gym and its upstairs by the elevator. The bathrooms are very dirty and smell all the time. It looks like a third-world country. Definitely not worth your time and money. Youre better off doing p90x in a park or something. I only gave 1 star because I had to in order to be able to post this comment, but I really wanted to give 0/5. The staff comes to work with the mindset that they have to make sales and push you into a contract that you can never get out of. They can only cancel your membership from Monday to Friday and only 1 person in each gym is able and allowed to do that. ...They at dont want to train others on how to cancel memberships, and also that person who will be doing the cancellation will first try to convince you to stay. This is the second time I got a membership with them because I live close by and I like the area, but the staff is either extremely rude and unhelpful, or hits on you and asks you out even though you tell the guy numerous times "No". I didnt go there for a few months after that happened; should have cancelled long ago. DO NOT GO HERE OR ANY LA FITNESS> other smaller gyms are cleaner, friendlier, and respectful.

Incredibly unprofessional. I joined Sunday and they scheduled an orientation for 6pm Wednesday. At 7:30pm Tuesday, the personal training manager calls me to tell me he is double-booked at that time. He asks if I am really interested in signing up with a personal trainer, because he is short-staffed and cant spend time with people who arent. I explained that I wanted an introduction to the equipment and might be interested in some personal training. He then suggested I come in at 4pm or 5pm, which I already explained wasnt possible because I work. He kept saying, "I dont know if the other person (booked at 6) is interested in personal training. Im sure if I had said I definitely was, he would have blown the other guy off. Clearly this club has no sense of customer service, I plan to take my business elsewhere.

This place is in a newer shopping center yet the facility seems old, run down, equipment is OLD. Its too small for the population or area. It was probably okay back when it was opened but this area has exploded in population the past 5 years. Someone really needs to buy it out, tear it down & replace it. This community deserves something like the Michelson LA Fitness or at least the Crossroads facility. Woodbury LA Fitness is probably the worst gym Ive visited in many years. We just moved to Foothill Ranch & its a pain trying to find a decent local gym. The 24Hr here sucks as well. So I guess Ill drive the distance to go to the Crossroads facility.

Terrible customer service and staff members are a bunch of haughty meatheads. If you ask one simple question towards a trainer, they keep pushing and asking you to hire them to the point that you dont want to go. Most of the time, besides 12PM - 3PM, the gym is always overcrowded. The bathrooms are filthy, equipment is getting really old and dirty. I got an eye infection from there. The only reason I go there is because I live across the street and the center is nice, otherwise, I would highly recommend another gym.

Very rude customer service my debtit card changed and I received twelve calls in one day about it. It is nearly impossible to cancel your membership you have to mail a cancellation letter in to their office which they wont tell you about until you tell them time and time again you want to cancel. Was very unhappy. The hours on the weekend are 8 am to 8 pm which are really hard for people that like to work out early in the morning or late at night.

I had a horrible experience with my account and service at our localtion in AZ. My first two experiences trying to deal with the corporate office were equally as bad. I was then able to work with Terri and Rick who took care of my husband and I, took the time to work out all the details, made sure we were comfortable with the outcome, and convinced us to try coming back. To a different location, but still within LA Fitness

Very rude customer service. Forced us to pay the last month of a membership, even though we cancelled in time, but there paperwork process took longer than expected (there internal paperwork) . They wanted to send us to collection because of there mistake. Would not send anyone to them. All they care about is the bottom $$.
