Very disappointed. This was my second time using this car wash. The first time, they did a good job... Maybe because I bought a more expensive package that included the interior? This time, I chose their exterior "special" ($19.95 for $16.95). When my name was called, I was escorted to my car and upon sitting in the drivers seat, I noticed that the windshield looked very dirty. Like it hadnt been cleaned above and below the wiper blades. The manager explained it was from water spots that would never come off unless I got the car detailed. Meanwhile, a worker began using his cloth to clean around the edges and it improved. (Supposedly, they added a RainX treatment to the windshield and the car body, but from the feel of the paint, I question whether it was actually added...or if the car actually was cleaned with water and products at all...maybe just wiped down with dry cloths?) I went to the cashier to ask for my money back. The owner, who was on the phone escorted me to my car. I explained that the worker had since wiped around the edges of the windshield and there had been some improvement. He said I had water spots, hed give me my money back, but never to come back again... with a sneer on his face. WOW! (Guess he was having a REAL bad day!) Why have I never had these mysterious "water spots" (right after a car wash)??? Or, come out of a car wash with them framing my windshield? Welcome to the car wash that reprimands the customer for pointing out faulty work. Go at your own peril.

I feel like I just got ripped off and thats the only reason I am writing this review because Im not the type to complain. First off I took my Tundra to wash. They tagged a hidden charge on my receipt.i purchased these Gold. I guess its not worth its weight but my car must be because they charged a fee because apparently a truck is over-sized. Considering the interior cab is small that makes no sense. The receptionist had no answer so I just swallowed it with he hope that their work would be be impeccable because according to their wall they have been the best car wash for twenty years. I get the truck back in five minutes. And let me tell you it looked like my dog washed the car. I had to ask them to vacuum it again. I live in SF and the place I go to charges 40 percent less and dresses the whole car and interior with armor all and takes their time cleaning my car. They washed my car in two minutes and handed me the keys and said thank you for letting us steal your money. The wheel dressing they claimed in Gold was water that wicked off. Dont go here. And to top it off, I found out they had coupons on line which would have still have me pay nearly 30 bucks for a 2 dollar car wash the Chevron would have done for me. Pathetic excuse for a car wash. No pride and dignity in the pricing/quality. Next time Ill go to Del Rey in Seaside and save twenty bucks and have my car actually washed properly.

Horrible Vacumning job every time I go in! I went in on Monday 6/13/16 for an exterior car wash and vacumn. When the car was done I looked at it and they had not lifted up the mats in the front , it looked just like when I brougt it in, so I told them it was unexeceptible. One of the managers asked if I had a couple of minutes to wait while they took it to the detailing area, and I said yes. Almost 20 minutes went by so I went to find my car and 2 guys were still working on it and doing extra cleaning. I told them they didnt have to do that I was mainly upset about the vacumning. The manager that asked if I could wait walked up to me at the car and told the 2 guys "stop that is enough!" Then he said to me "they spent too much time on your car (20 minutes too much)", and tried to blame it on me when I told him that I only asked for the vacumning to be redone. He said to me "Well you havent been here for 2 years" and I replied yah because you do a horrible job on the vacumning and really wont be back now. Lousy Customer Service and Lousy Cleaning Service!!! I guess they only deal with clean cars coming in to get cleaner!!!

After getting my vehicle inspected at Honda I took my 2015 Honda Civic SI to El Estero. I googled hand car wash in monterey because I didnt want scratches on my brand new car. Ordered their carnauba wax and gold package. When I got it back I noticed the bottom passenger bumper and was hoping it was only left over residue from the wax. Unfortunately it wasnt :( looks like they scraped it while taking it out of the of the driveway to go get it waxed. Spoke with the owner we saw the video which was low resolution but most of the other cameras were HD. Owner claimed that because you could see the shadow it didnt touch that is irrelevant. The owner denied liability and pretty much told me they didnt scratch my vehicle. With only 400 miles on the vehicle I take extremely good care of it. Im curious to know if this has happened to anyone else.

I would never ever write a review but I found myself very upset after getting me car washed here today. typically they do a very good job but today I needed my car wash since I was selling it, I told them to vacuum it very thoroughly, I dont care about the outside just getting the sand and dirt out, I had to send it back twice to get vacuumed, they missed so many spots, I am going to have to take my car somewhere else to get it recleaned, they didnt wipe anything down inside either, money wasted but I will still go back when I dont need my car as deeply cleaned as I did today.

I am from out-of-town and my 2015 truck had gotten seagull droppings all over it so I brought it here to get the droppings off. When I arrived at home I realized that the bed cover had sustained damage just behind the rear window in 5 different places. On along the front edge. A place that is very unlikely to receive damage on the road from debris. I will not contact the carwash because like another reviewer said, they will deny they did it. We have an awesome carwash in our area that does not damage our vehicles. I learned the hard way about this one. So beware!!!

Like several other reviewers, I found the work to be on the lazy side. I would expect a $20 car wash to have my car looking really good, but all they did was run it through a normal automatic car wash, towel dry it and wipe the dash down with a damp towel. There was still spots and sap on the outside. The car was supposed to be vacuumed, but it certainly didnt look like it was at all. I could have gotten the same thing for $7 at any car wash. This was my first time going here and I was hoping it would be good, but I wont be going back or recommending.
