I receive my business mail in Monterey Park and the office mail boxes were vandalized so we had to go pick up our mail from the post office till we get new mailboxes on the premises. The day we were finally able to start receiving mail, the delivery guy named Jay Bryan was irritable and impatient. At one point, he actually told people to "go away". I decided to let his rudeness pass, that maybe he was having a bad day. Now, several weeks later, I walked in to pick up my mail and he walked in at the same time. When I greeted him, he looked at me and said "you know I just got here, right?". His blatant lack of respect has prompted me to post this review. I have also witnessed employees in supervisor positions at the Monterey Park office getting into verbal altercations with the paying public. Ive been to other post offices like Diamond Bar where they know how to give good customer service. Dont the Monterey Park employees realize that their paychecks are ultimately paid by their tax paying customers? People like Jay Bryan and his superiors should move on to jobs more suitable to their grumpy attitudes where they dont have to deal with living people.

Our mail gets delivered out of this branch. For over seven years we have been receiving mail for a previous occupant. Every time this happens we go through the appropriate process, marking the mail return to sender and writing a little explanation that the people in question no longer live here. I have confronted three separate carriers to discuss the issue, and my wife has made numerous phone calls on the matter to the branch and to USPS generally. Now I am getting harassing phone calls from the previous occupants creditors, because they see that for seven years mail gets delivered for them (the previous occupants) to our address. I finally went down to the branch to talk to the supervisor. Her attitude made it clear that she felt that she was too important to take my problem seriously, and specifically said the words I dont see why this is a problem, after I explained the situation. Im guessing she was just trying to get rid of me so she could get back to her game of spider solitaire, or what ever it is USPS managers do instead of working.

I went there to get a new passport, they say you have be on line (literally) before 12nn so they can serve you. They know I was on line about 11am then I went outside to call my sister then I came back at 11:58am, the lady came to me at 12:05pm and told that its already past 12nn and they cannot serve me anymore and maybe if volume of work will be light they will serve me. I waited for 1.5 hours and still that will not give you definite answer. A horrible place to apply for new passport, horrible. Next day I came at 10am on line (literally) then the staff came to me at 11am that if want to get served right away I can go to city hall, I waited for one hour and thats youre going to tell me go somewhere else to get same service. This place is horrible to get you new passport, why not stop extending this service in this place if people from this place cant do it. Dont come to this place to get a new passport, horrible place of service, horrible.

Refused to give back the claim receipt given by me from our postal box after I said I left my ID in the car. They did not offer me to go to my car to get the ID and come back to claim our office package. Instead Sheryl Culp refused to give back the claim receipt and walked away. The manager Donna Sosa did not offer me to walk to my car to get my ID so I can claim our company package nor assist any wrong doing. Both of these employees have serious attitude and customer service issues.

Terrible service! This place is ridiculous. First, they delivered a package to my condo up the driveway and in front of my garage door! Anyone from the street could take it. There are 14 condos and there was no way I would have been able to see it backing out of my garage. Then, after complaining to a LUIS and a Donna who claimed to be supervisors my next delivery mysteriously was attempted even though I was home ALL DAY LONG! Ridiculous! I hate this place already!

My package was showed out for delivery, but then never updated after that. After I called and they made an investigation, the one called Louis told me the mailman was on vacation, and said even if he asked the driver, he would say he forgot. And asked me the file a claim right away!! I was like, how come it would be lost if it was out for delivery? I can assume that the driver took it.

The front desk service is too bad. They never wanna help. One time I drop the package at the post office but my friend did not get it till 2 weeks I came back. The white lady said I did not drop it. I really want them to recheck the CCTV so I can prove. But the never wanna waste time with customers. The USPS driver and shipper are nice I admit this.

Help please.. Every single time I have a shipment from this post office its always delivered it to the wrong not to me but my neighbors house, why I never received my packages!! Is always gone theyre not doing their job need to talk to a supervisor or the delivery manager so I want to have higher power !! I talk to about this issue?

This was by far the best experience I have had with the Post Office. Called on the phone and it was picked up by Antonio. I had a problem with a missing package and Antonio had the info for me and located in about 5 minutes. He even e-mailed me the info he received to me. Very nice and efficient. Thanks.

I have had a pretty positive experience as opposed to all the negative reviews. They have been nothing but friendly and professional to me. I go in to drop off packages and to pickup packages few times a month and they are extremely helpful and respectful.

Went in to apply for a passport didnt have the right birth certificate the lady at the desk was nice gave me a paper with location where I can get my birth certificate I went back a few days later and applied for my passport was in and out less than an hour

Poor service. The white lady told me to print a slip to prove the pick up. They didnt even try to delivered once and ask me to pick up. Whats more? I have to pay for the pick up, WTF??
