This Post Office is the very very worst of the worst. I waited on line to get a pre-paid package scanned and a receipt for it as I have done at other Post Offices many times before. 1st off it looks and runs like a prison. Thick what seems to be bullet proof glass protecting the workers, WHY? i do not know basically no contact because there behind these thick bullet proof glass enclosures. I waited 20 minutes finally then the guy tells me he cannot scan nor give receipt unless he rips my package open to inspect. I thought he was joking and when he insisted I was absolutely shocked, I asked him does my package look suspicious? he said no not really then I asked him do I seem shady or suspicious? He said no not really. Then I asked him why in the world would you want to rip open my nicely sealed package. He said because they have the right to inspect any packages they want. I said you know what you just wasted about 1/2 hour of my time. I took my package and said good riddance I will never come back to this prison again and he said thats fine good bye. Never again with that nasty place. I took it over to the Bellflower PO and got it scanned with a receipt without issue. Do yourself a big favor and stay away from that Paramount prison of a Post Office

I have a mail box here. I literally ran in from work and made it here at 4:28pm. I had a package to pick up. He said its too late and literally shut the door in my face. I explained through the door that I just got off of work and that Ive been trying to pick this package up. Then he proceeded to shut the blinds in my face! Like I was invisible. So I am going to try Monday and close my P.O. mail box that I renew every year. Ill try another post office because this one has HORRIBLE customer service. They should ALL be retrained in customer service. ALL of them! I advice no one to come here. NO ONE!

Horrible customer service,I went to this post office to get my passport and only because they opened at 0930 and just my luck 0945 came and the door was still closed,I went to to front desk to ask,and they stated that they will look for the person that is suppose to be there. At 0955 they posted a sign that he was running late. I find it hard to believe that only that person knows how process the paper work.the supervisor stated that if we did not want to wait to go somewhere else.

They have too much power and are lazy. Someone who they know delivered my package to an individual to the wrong address yet they act as if they know nothing and cannot even give me a refund back because it is marked as delivered. They made a mistake and still continue to do so by allowing others peoples mail be delivered to the wrong addresses. Half ass jobs thats what they do. Steve the postal master acts as if he cares then you get no results and excuses. Terrible service!

I can not say enough bad things about this post office! They lose your mail, they send your mail elsewhere, if you have too much mail to fit in your mail box they force it in, ripping it. They do not scan your tracking info if you give them something and then they lose it and you have no record of them ever receiving it! Go anywhere else if you can, you have better chances of paying a stranger on the street to deliver your mail!

This facility had a mail drop box in the lobby (red & blue)labeled "Letters" I mailed my rent check from this facility dropped in that box, later to find my rent had not been received I called and spoke with the Postmaster and was told the drop box was for "Santa" even though it was the 29th of Dec well after Christmas no indication the box was for letters to Santa causing my rent to be more than 7 days late.....

Unprofessional no customer service skills lady sounds like she needs to go to be retrained or fired, because I was disrespected all I wanted was to check on a letter over a week late and she no tracking number no answer, and I said I dont have a tracking number and she laughed said tough luck and hung up close this place down no stars if I could

The worst post office Ive ever dealt with. Their employees are lazy, rude, and remarkably incompetent. They "lose" packages on a regular basis, have no basic understanding of customer service, and refuse to be held accountable or to take responsibility for their shortcomings. This location needs to be shut down or completely overhauled.

I leave the envelope in a mailbox outside of the paramount office at somerset on saturday Nov 28/15. The landlord where i live try to charge to my account $75.00 for late fee, the mail take a least two bussines day to arrival, today it the 3rd of december at 630pm and not arrival to the landlord office in gardena ca.

I had never had an item that was supposedly "delivered" missing until I moved to Paramount. The mail men are always losing your packages delivering them else where. This is very frustrating, you call them to complain and they talk to you as if you were lying about it. They need to be more responsible!!!

New (replacement/temp) mail carriers constantly forget/not notice Im there at my office....which is a block away from the post office mind you! My mail gets sent elsewhere...my out going doesnt get picked up...so if my normal carrier gets sick or is on vacation...Im not getting most my mail! smh

I when to ask for a consent for pemision for passport and the person that is in charge is very rude bad customer service it seems that. They dont like your job if he doesnt like his job or having a bad day why is he making a bad day for others just go home. Bad customer service.

Horrible service. The guy in the passports desk is a total jerk. Mean. And grumpy. Will never process my passport at this location. Please dont do it. I really hope they kick this guy out of that office. He is rude and gives the most disgusting service to the comunity.

battery on phone died while on hold. No one works here. take 2 days to go from MN to CA but it takes over a week to go from Paramount to Long Beach? Do your jobs, getting way over paid for what you do and I am glad USPS is going out of business.
