The parking at this YMCA has been a huge problem for years. They keep saying they are going to fix the problem but they never do. You have to sign up 30 minutes for the most popular classes, like Body Pump & Cycling. So you need to get there 45 min to a hour early just to find a parking spot and then to sign up for your class. A lot of people have been parking at Cuesta Park and then walking over to the YMCA but that parking lot is getting crowded too! By the time you get to class you are already stressed out!

I love the Y! The childwatch (no charge with a family membership) has been a huge lifesaver for me. The childwatch staff has had very little turnover in the last 5 years (which is truly amazing and a HUGE plus as your child/ren bond with the staff so they feel safe/loved while they are there). The classes (and variety to choose from) are great. I just cant say enough about how the Y has changed my life.

If you want a family-friendly facility and have no serious fitness goals, this place is great. The younger staff members are accommodating and passionate. The older staff members in the wellness center are crotchety and believe the weight room should be treated like a library.

I like to go to the gym late and the weekend and Friday hours are not satisfactory. When you go to the gym at 6-7pm the gym is very busy. Other than that, the facilities are reasonable, much better than 24 hr fitness though the hours there are great.

Its a fantastic YMCA, great staff, great classes; however the parking is so bad that it becomes just "okay". Its so frustrating trying to park that it takes 10-15 minutes to recover from the irritation!

Clean facilities. Lots of equipment. Adequate number of parking spots, however TINY parking spots. Minivans, SUVs or any other large cars will just squeak in the spaces.

Ymca membership manager is terrible. I cam in from 1 hour away and didnt let me in. So I was stuck here. And i come all the time too!!! Dont go here!

This is a really good place for families. The folks are very nice and the kids love the kids club. The facility is nice and clean.
