Cancelling my membership as soon as I get off work tomorrow. I signed up at Tour de Terrace two years ago and have been a member since. When I signed up, I was told I could bring in guests as long as they had a guest pass (and hadnt had one in the past year.) I went to bring in two of my friends this evening to use the pool and hot tub area. They had previously considered membership, but we werent in the mood to go through the whole spiel this evening and just wanted to use the hot tub before heading home. I had not had issues before this evening, and had in fact brought in two other people (with guest passes!) who eventually became members. We were told that they had to pay the day fee of $20 (which I was not told about when I signed up) even though it was 9:00 and we were intending to go into the hot tub for a total of 10-15 minutes after work. On top of that, the employee who was supposed to set them up with their guest passes was busy chatting with another employee rather than helping us, and we sat for ten minutes before the employee at the front desk had to call them AGAIN to get their attention. Overall, it was an extremely upsetting experience and I expect more from a gym that I pay $45/month to attend. I have told my father (whose company incentivizes employees to join 24 hour fitness as their gym of choice by reimbursing their membership fees) and if this issue does not get the resolution Im expecting, we will be cutting off that program and switching to L.A. Fitness. Company-wide. Furthermore, I will be posting this on Angies list AND google reviews, as well as calling their corporate office and flying in for a face-to-face appointment if necessary.

I will be canceling my membership here!!! Their fingerprint system never works as I seen many members get upset having to punch their # and scan fingerprint over & over, yesterday I came in at 6am to workout to have them not let me in the gym because my fingerprint isnt going through and didnt have my ID at the time, with my luck I had just lost it the day before. as if this isnt frustrating enough I got hurt on the stepmaster because they didnt have a sign that said out of service, I tried to climb on it as usual and the machine had no resistance what so ever my foot went flying down as I hit the side of my ribs,...about 2 weeks before this incident I let one of the employees and manager know about another step master that suddenly went full speed on me when I pushed the STOP button if I hadnt jumped out the machine I wouldve fallen off of it, again,... No sign that said "out of order" if it would of been an elderly or heavy person they woulf have been seriously hurt, when I spoke to the manager about an employee not letting me in the facility because their fingerprint system wasnt working and didnt have my ID at the moment this was his reply to me " those are the rules" is either fingerprint or ID go to the dmv and get an ID....wait what?? I couldnt believe it I go to workt 7:30am-5pm Mon-Fri, which means I would have to go Saturday and would not be able to go to the gym I pay for literary for a week? Yeah NO THANKS I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS GYM TO ANYONE! If you do have a membership with 24 hour fitness, Ballinger is a smaller gym but they have great customer service and their machines work.

Just moved to Lynnwood in May. Chose 24 because they were close. Since becoming a member Ive been treated with respect and the very few concerns I had were addressed and handled timely. The General Manager is wonderful, he helped me and took care of me when I first started. The staff that I bump inot on a daily basis will say hello and ask me how Im doing. The atmosphere from LA fit to 24 is unreal. I have all the equipment I need and when I asked about one that seemed to not be working properly I met Jay the maintenance tech. He came over as I was there and fixed the machine I was using. Most gyms do not have a service tech on hand, it makes a difference. From what Ive heard it sounds like the management has changed some and most of the other gym goers I talk to agree that the club has been the better for it. Issues may have existed in the past but for the last 3 months Ive loved this place. Give it a try before just reading a review.

I went in to use the free 3-day pass and the staff badgered me so bad to sign up for a membership. I told them I had to wait for my tax return to make any decisions. The manager told me to go home and get my money even though I told him I didnt have the money right then and there. I honestly would have signed up after the 3 day grace period, but the customer service was very unprofessional in my opinion. The staff needs to learn how to be real with people and not fake. I understand you need more customers, but badgering and pushing people to sign up for something, after they tell you no, DOES NOT WORK. Ill be taking my business back to Columbia Athletic Club. Never go to this gym. A complete joke.

3 electrical outlets in the mens locker room were out. I advised then on 3 occasions including the assistant manager. They were still out the last time I was there. Visited the day of this review and they were fixed so raised from poor to good. Also, there have been repeated problems with the pool, sauna etc. These were fixed as well. I attend a yoga class and there have been several times when the instructor didnt show up. We have a new, very young instructor. This club needs to improve.

I was looking for a new gym and ONLY wanted a tour and pricing in order to compare with others. I stated this a couple of times and although the staff was very nice I felt the sales approach to be quite scripted and forced and when I was ready to leave I felt like I was being pressured in to signing up TWICE and then a third time when I was introduced to a supervisor. Gym seemed nice and rates werent bad, but I didnt sign up purely due to the sales approach.

i have been going here about 2 years now i mean sure there is some trash on the ground but whos fault is that? definitely not the janitors job... pick up after yourself if you use the paper towel. or just bring your own towel from home. the staff is really nice from what i have seen i havent had any problems there. the only real problem is the sauna and the pool area and the mens locker room other then that this gym is not that bad its pretty good.

The facility is older and you can tell it is a "Sport" 24h Fitness and not a "Super Sport." Equipment is older and well-used, but it is generally in good condition. That said, the people there are great. The instructors know what they are doing and give a great work out. The facility staff are responsive and helpful. The childcare area is well-kept and the staff that watch the kids seem to genuinely enjoy being with the kids.
