SCAM, FRAUD! STAY AWAY! My husband and I went in for a tour. We did NOT sign up to be members. They gave us a guest pass to use for the week. At the end of the week we called them and said it wasnt for us...later we get charged $300 plus monthly fee. We called to tell them there was a mistake, they said we had joined and everything was on file and there was nothing they could do. They even told me I had been to the gym 3 times that month! When I hadnt been once...so I drove there to talk to the girl we had originally talked to. I figured she would help solve all of this nonsense. I saw her as soon as I walked in the door, she lied straight to my face and said, "I sign so many people up, I dont remember every person, I see here that you became members on Aug, 31st." Again and again she said the same. "I dont know anything about you getting a guest pass, it says right here you are members and have been to the gym 3 times..." This went on for a while! Total scam! We signed a paper to get guest passes never for a membership! No recipet was ever given to us! FRAUD, FRAUD, FRAUD! DO NOT GO HERE!

worst gym i have ever paid for and ive tried ballys 24 hour golds gym....this place takes the trophy for WORST GYM ever. 1. trainers are not even fit and beyond pushy, they always bug ya during your workout out trying to out smart ya on fitness when they arent even fit. 2. cleanliness SUCKS womens locker room is disgusting, often times i find myself cleaning after others especiallllly in the showers. 3. equipement etiquette DOES not exist here, you can barely work out since there layout is so speratic that its a maze. you will hardly ever find weights reracked here. 4. OLD BROKEN equipment on the constant. They take forever to repair anything 5. 75% of employees there suck at customer service. 6. Equipment often stalls or turns off on you because of how old it is. basically do yourself a favor and dont pay $45 a month to go here. i know i am no longer doing that, in that case your better off going to Golds gym and paying that for a nicer cleaner and much better gym experience

The employees suck. I used to go to this gym and the only thing I liked about it was the basketball court. Their free weight section is ridiculously small and when it comes to busy hours its almost impossible to get a bench. their dumbbells are so limited that people ask for your weight while youre using them. They have a lot of machines but theyre old and outdated. I go to a better gym now. The gym I go to costs me 19 dollars a month while this gym cost me 40 dollars a month. Earlier my friend invited my to go there and he was planning to bring me in as his guest. but they didnt let me because I use to go to this gym and I had to wait for 6 months so he can bring me in again. It sucked because compared to other gyms all you have to do is out your info into their computer then youre guest is free to go. this gym was just not worth the money. its a great gym because of its area but its not worth paying 40 bucks a month

Worst experience at this location. Walked in looking for a tour, got a brainless nut who did nothing but awkwardly walk me around in a circle & ask personal questions. Uncomfortable right off the bat, Im there to seek a membership not be hit on, in front of another family member no less. Didnt show me a thing or what they had to offer. Everything from the machines to the TVs are way dated and disgusting. The place just looks dingy and unclean. Manager didnt disclose hidden fees nor show me the contract, adding extra fees, lied to us and hung up on me after I wasnt interested in a personal trainer solicit. Definitely NEVER going to this location. I hope the rest arent as bad.

On first glance it looks nice, but the details .... I have an all-club annual membership so I get to see some of the other locations. Compared to almost all other LA Fitness locations: Equipment is old and out-dated. Equipment is poorly maintained. Mens locker room is poorly arranged. Lockers are substandard and often broken. Mens restroom is too small and not kept clean. Mens showers are outdated and poorly maintained. Yet I keep coming here. Why? I am grandfathered with an old reasonably priced all-club deal from Ballys, which LA Fitness acquired just over five years ago. (LA Fitness then closed the two closest locations to my house. Shame.)

Ive experienced regularly broken machines and amenities here. They sponsor a customer appreciation day that is unavoidably annoying and tries sales tactics to sell health-related products during it. Needless to say I dont feel very appreciated. I would rather they take that $ and use it to repair the equipment. I feel its unsanitary because the cleaning supplies are frequently not stocked and they are not readily accessible. Also difficult to stay true to a work out while they cook sausage and onions in the juice bar. Its a shame that I paid in advance when it was new....before I knew how it would be managed.

This gyms a joke i just got my girlfriend a member ship and wanted to add her on my family plan but instead tried telling her a something completly different for 100$ more And got her to do a personal trainer and when she said no they kep lowing the price and when i told them she doesnt wanna do called some guy Albert he was big but kept saying im holding her back i was insulated as her boyfriend because i have been a member for years i my not be all buff or riped but i know health and fittness becuase of my martials and classes but they were pushy and complete jokes and insulted my knowledge.

I moved to this area so, now I have this gym close to where I live and before I went yesterday I took a look at the reviews and I thought those were exaggerated, so I decided to go to investigate by myself and yes there we go,noisy thread mills very old equipment dirty restrooms everything is outdated, all mixed up Im rather travel farther but better cleaner newer updated nicer Im sorry for the people that had no choice other than had to go to this gym and the sad thing is that apparently corporation, dont care about the reviews because if they would they probably would do something by now.

I really like the staff however the facility is beyond sad. This place hasent seen a capital investment since before it was ballys. 10 years at least. The overwhelming smell is from the old carpet. All the ac vents are over the desks so they turn the thermostat up and the room is too hot and has no air circulation. cheep counter in the womens locker room is falling off the wall. The equipment is showing quite a bit of use (cracked vinyl, missing grips, rust from sweat) On the positive side it is conveniently located and they have a sauna and pool. It just needs a renovation BADLY!
